Has anyone been watching this BBC TV show called "What Not To Wear"? It can be a little harsh at times, but it gives me a positive feeling.
These two fashion consultants go after one woman each episode. She is usually someone whose mental image of herself tends to be completely different from what she actually looks like and is wearing clothes that are all wrong for her. They are real women, with real lives and real figure problems who are often too busy and hassled to spend much time on their wardrobes.
I like the part where they tell her all the things that are positive about her figure and they work on accentuating them. Most of them wind up at the end very happy with their new images, and sometimes it is even life-altering.
They have 2 episodes on Tuesday nights here in NY from 10:00-11:00 p.m. I am quickly getting addicted!
