MY MEASUREMENTS...EEK !!!

Bernard

Cathlete
OMG, Everyone, I took my measurements this morning. Talk about shocking  ! My hips are so big, my tape measure ran out (I am laughing hysterically as I write this and I don't know why ? :D :D :D). I suppose it is better than crying !!!! I think there must be something in my tomato cup-a-soup, I have tears rolling down my face.

Right I am composed now - here goes, yes, my measurements - awful, absolutely awful:

BUST: 40" (no surprise there)
WAIST: 37" (no wonder I can't get into clothes !)
HIPS: 42" (Yikes ! I took a guess, as my tape measure only goes up to 40")
WIDEST PART OF MY HIPS: 45" (where did that come from ? Again guessed)
RIGHT ARM : 13"
LEFT ARM : 13"
RIGHT KNEE: 17 3/4 "
LEFT KNEE: 17.5 "
RIGHT THIGH: 25.5"
LEFT THIGH: 25"
CHEST: 35"

Right, I will report back in a months time (8th December) to let you all know how I am getting on.
I have started my Rosemary Conley plan, which advocates low fat/high fibre eating (not allowed food more than 4g of fat per 100g of food).

Wish me Luck !

Anna :)

I FEEL REALLY POSITIVE !

Good luck Anna!

It sometimes takes a rude awakening to motivate us. I happen to be one of them. For me it was not being able to fit into my wardrobe after having my son a little over 4 months ago. I was 20 pounds heavier, luckily I can now fit into them but some things are still a little snug. They should fit properly after I lose the last 5 pregnancy pounds. Cathe's tapes will help me to get there. She has already helped with the first 15 pounds.

Once again good luck!! You can do it!! We are here to support you if you need us.

Anna- mine were almost exactly the same as yours if not *thee* same! Wow!

It's been fun the whole time so far-- my waist is now 27". I don't know if it will shrink more but I'm still progressing and I plan to continue indefinitely!

I love your posts! Keep 'em coming!

Anna,

Your measurements will be coming down faster than you think, thanks to Cathe's "special way" of blasting pounds and inches! :)
There will be weeks you may not lose on the scale, but you'll drop a 1/2 inch from a body part or two. So keep the faith, the inches will be rolling off! :)
