My Initial Review of LIS and Shoulders

LIS Cardio:

Fun Factor: 8
Difficulty: 5

Positives: I thought it was fun. I have no problems with choreography so this wasn't difficult whatsoever for me. The music was fun as well. I get tired of the hour long workouts and this one is great for just having a low key day. I loved the new choreography also - - it was kind of hip :)

Negatives: I did the workout "as is" - no previewing for me, I jump right into workouts and had no problems with this one - so for me it was too easy. BUT - I will add another rise next time and add some jumps -

SHOULDERS:

Fun Factor: 10
Difficulty: 10

Positives: I loved the weights in this one. I felt an excellent burn by the time I was done, I wasn't sure I was going to make it! The band burnout was terrific! I love working the rotator cuff...

Calves: HELLO BURN OUT! I had to quit early bc I was afraid of a charlie horse - so I sat out about the last 16....

Abs: Loved them - they were just long enough without being boring - terrific!

Negatives: None - this might be one of my favorite shoulder segments - toss up between this one and PH Shoulders ( which I have always loved )

Overall Rating of this one "as is" -

Difficulty - 8 ( only bc the cardio was easier )
 
I started off with an 8" step because I missed the "er" at the end of LOW. Cathe does all of her Low Impact/Intensity on an 8" step. I also did it all low impact as I am nursing a tender achilles heel. I got a decent workout, I was impressed. I actually like this one much better than HIS. I loved the combos so much that I was so bummed that we only went through all of them once at the end.

I love the Shoulder work as well. Have not done the calf or core work yet. I'll get to that next week.
