My Hope turns 5 today...

Hope, my youngest, turns 5 today, and I turn 43! I haven't had a birthday in 5 years! She's in the living room this morning singing Karoake to the "Chicken Little" sound track. She's shaking her little tail feathers. Absolutely adorable. In about 4 hours my house will be overrun with preschoolers. Anyone up for pin the wings on Tinkerbell, or Duck, Duck Goose. This is always such an ironic day for me.

Happy Birthday to Hope and to you! Good luck and have fun at the party! My son will be 5 this June. Doesn't time fly? Do you think back to when Hope was born and remember thinking how it would be a long time before she turns 5? Make sure you eat two pieces of cake since there are two birthdays! Melissa

We had a fun party. Ended with a trip to the park because it is gorgeous here today. Learned something about 5 year olds... Do not take a chair away when playing musical chairs. Just trying to get to a chair when the music stops is enough competition for them. They don't understand and it breaks thier little hearts when you remove a chair. Learned this the hard way today, modified the game and they had a ball!!!! Also, "Whack-a-Mole" is the perfect present for a 5 year old!!!!! Thanks for the birthday wishes!

Oh, I used to hate musical chairs!!! The competition was too much at a fun event like a birthday party. I'm so glad you had fun!!!! I'm sure all the kids are still talking fast about the party to their parents. How fun!!!

Happy birthday to BOTH of you!!! (Did you know she was coming the 14th, or was she a birthday surprise for you five years ago??)
 
She wasn't due till February, and came after 4 weeks of bed rest. She's always been in hurry to do things. A busy little bee, no butterfly!!!
