My dog was attacked this a.m....

this is EXACTLY what happened to us! When their dog attacked mine (in our garage) we phoned immediately. the machine picked up so my husband left a msg., stating what had happened and asking them to return our call. They never did and when we wound up in court, she said it was because she was 'embarassed'. what a load of crap. x(

some people rely on others to be nice, not make waves, etc. so they can continue their irresponsible behavior. I didn't want to take them to court, but talking to them had gotten nowhere, animal control talking w/ them yielded the same results. It's sad that some people only appreciate harsh consquences to change their behavior, but it's how it is.

Well, I see her alot on our walks to school in the a.m. I'm hoping she'll talk to me then. My dog seems fine physically (my blocking maneuvers with my daughter's backpack helped tremendously), but she seems wary of strange dogs now. She always seemed to assume that other dogs were friendly, but now it seems that she's on the defensive. It stinks! I find it hard to believe that my neighbor will let her dog off leash now, but guess I'll find out. Probably tomorrow.
