My dog has a crazy in his head!

I always tell him "Vlad, you have a crazy in your head!" Today was a cardio day, and I wasn't feelin' the jumpin', bumpin', poundin', so I decided I would take him for a long, fast walk. Cool beans. Except its about 1000000% humidity and supposed to be 90* today. I figured we'd go early, so after the 1st load of laundry was done and hung outside, we left. It was about 6:55 and already kissing 80* and STICKY!!! We had a 6 mile route planned, but I was hot and sweaty and he was looking hot (his tongue always hangs to the ground, so its hard to tell) so we cut it short and ended up at 5 miles. He drank about a half bowl of water, and plopped on the floor while I took a shower. I get out of the shower and he brings me his favorite ball!!! Doggie friend, you aren't tired? You aren't hot? You want to play fetch ball and run around? "You have a crazy in your head!" Ahhhh, I wish I had his energy. He's like the energizer bunny.

So great to have your own personal motivating workout partner!! I need Vlad to visit me once in a while :)

Nan,
I hear you! My Ben is absolutely nuts (I mean, he growls at objects while he pees on them ). When I was training for my half marathon, we ran a 10 mile run. We came home and I stopped to sit next to the pond and Ben went out and swam laps around the pond!!! Then opted to race the car up the drive rather than ride! All I wanted to do was curl up on the couch. It's great though - he keeps me motivated and I always have at least 1 "person" that wants to run any time I do. Hugs to Vlad for being a good training buddy.
