Hi everybody!!

I've updated my picture trail! Please have a look at the album titled "Christmas Card Photo Shoot".

Michele:)

Michele, these are awesome! Can you come make my cat a kittyclaus now? ;)

OMGosh Michele, I had tears from laughing so hard at those. Your captions are priceless. What the heck was going on in the "I almost used this one but I was afraid someone would report me to the SPCA" shot? It looks like Siegfried is howling and the cat is headless:p

OMG Michele! Those are such wonderful pictures! I laughed like heck! Thanks!:)

That Sigfried was not only adorable as anything but an absolutely gorgeous animal! WOW!

VERY CUTE! Thanks for sharing!:+

LOl!
In most of those, Johnny looks about the way most cats do when you try to get them to pose. (He's not very happy, still, in the final photo!). (I definitely have to go with unposed photos for my cats!)

I liked the first pic (if it weren't blurry...or maybe that's just because I don't have my glasses on! ) and the one that you captioned about having to get rid of the prop (it would have been a perfect pose without the prop! Can you do Photoshop to remove it?).

Don't be discouraged by how many pics you had to take to get a good one. Sometimes, the contestants on "America's Top Model" have more than that and their pics don't look very good! And you had to deal with two 'models' at once.

Thanks for sharing, Michelle. I really enjoyed these! Our pets sure bring a lot of joy to my DH and I. We have a mini-dachshund, German Shorthair and 1 cat in the house. Also 2 cats and 1 horse that live outside.

Good job on the photography!

Those are some great pics! Me and the kids laughed our heads off over them. The ones where the cat is napping... too funny. Then the last pic the cat looks like he is getting seriously ticked about this picture session LOL. Thanks for sharing those.

Michelle, how funny! Your captions make the whole album so precious! That photo with the caption saying Siegfried recorded Jingle Bells made me laugh out loud. I don't think he loved the photo shoot so he distracted himself by singing (or howling?). That last photo is priceless. I guess the best photos are the candid ones, huh? They're the ones that are more telling.:)

Michele, I'm ROFLMAO right now!! Those photos are great, and your captions are wonderful!!!

My boss has 2 long haired dachshunds- one of them is about 10 weeks old now. He slept on my lap for about 30 minutes last week, waking up periodically to hop down and knaw on my boot heel!! They are such a kick!!!

My cats made it clear that no matter how cute I make them look for Christmas, they WILL NOT be participating in any camera action... ;)

Thanks again for sharing!!!

Fabulous! I am astounded Johnny put up with it and hung in there. He looked rather purr-turbed in the beginning but seemed to resign himself. Tell me that isn't love?

Thanks so much, everyone, for your compliments and kind remarks!

I had sent these pictures to work with my husband over 2 weeks ago so he could scan them and he finally got it done Friday. I think he had a hard time with it because he really misses our dog. Siegfried passed away in July of 2004:-(.

The only pet we have now is our sweet kitty, Johnny. He is so laid back! We never could have gotten our other cat to wear a hat, much less sit fairly still for a couple of hours while we took pictures!

Thanks again. I'm glad if my little project brought a smile to your face!

Michele:)

>Hoe did you get them to sit there ??
>They are sooo cute.

Anne,

The thing that is so remarkable about it is that Siegfried would have killed that cat when he was a kitten!! I had 2 older dachshunds when I adopted 2 kittens. I had to keep them separated for 6 months!! Once the kitties were a little older and bigger they were able to hold their own. It was always very funny to us how Siegfried and Johnny became "buds". We used to call them Frick and Frack!
