My Boyfriend Did Kick, Punch and Crunch Yesterday...

Hi Cathe

My boyfriend decided he wanted to try KPC (the cardio conditioning premix) yesterday. After the warmup when you say you're going to "kick it up a notch" he started yelling, "A notch? Is she out of her mind?!" Later, when you're high-fiving Jae and Lorraine, he runs up to the screen with his hands up thinking you're going to high-five him too. When you didn't, he got an attitude!

I had to hide my face because I didn't want him to see me laughing. :D However, he raved about the workout after he calmed down. The next time I need a serious abdominal workout, I'm going to ask him to do one of you workouts. Laughing at him is really good for my abs!

Pearlstrand, no, he didn't do the ab work. But can you imagine a 6'4" man trying to do inverted pikes on that ball? I would have had to leave the room..LOL!

LLP, I should have videotaped it!

Cathe, I'm sure he'll appreciate the high five! :D

Glad you all enjoyed the story! :)

Well, I've seen a 6'2" man attempt it (my husband), but it didn't go very well. He now substitutes something else!

I managed to keep a straight face.

My husband did Supersets with me one morning last week. Watching his form and listening to his "complaining" was really funny and I found it hard to concentrate on my own form. Anyway it was fun that he did the workout with me and also really good that he realized how hard we all work out. "How much longer and how much weight are you using" was all he kept saying.
