My Birthday present

My DH gave me my B-day present a little bit early so I could take it with me to Florida -- it's actually March 29th, when I'll turn (gulp) 43. Whoa.

Anyhoo ... he bought me the text book and study materials I need to prepare for the test to become an ACE certified personal trainer. I am SO DARN excited!!! Truly one of the absolute best birthday gifts I've ever received. Just wanted to share! :)

I think there was a typo in your post - I saw your pictures - don't you mean you're turning 33??????;)

That was so sweet and supportive of your husband to do that for you! Is this a career move for you or are you already working in the fitness arena? I would love to do something like that - some day!!

ANGIE! You sweetie!! The cool thing is, I actually feel BETTER than I did at 33. :)

It's a career move in the making. My kids are still very young and I'm home with them (we homeschool, too), so these are the beginning steps to my future career. I haven't worked in fitness before (I used to be in graphic production), but now that I'm a little older and a little wiser (and a lot more confidant) I know that it's never too late to go after what you want and that I'll be most successful in what I love doing -- and that is fitness & nutrition.

So off I go ... :D

Well, Happy Birthday a bit early! What a sweetie-pie you got yourself there! BTW, your vacation pix were absolutely great! I enjoyed looking at them. You look maaaahvelous! Are your boys twins? Good Luck with your studies. You'll do great!

My boys are two years apart, but I always get asked if they're twins. They are so fun! :)
