My baby's birthday will be 12/1

Yeah, there is an end in sight!!!!

My first 2 kids were VERY fast labors - with my second I almost did not make it to the hospital. So with my 3rd my Dr. induced me at 38 week (my first 2 babies came on their own just after 38 weeks). Anyway the inducement was great because I did not have to worry about not making it in time plus I could arrange for a babysitter and have an epidural since I was at the hospital for moment one. With my second baby she was born so fast there was no time for an epidural and that was no fun for me. I actually found the inducment SO much better than natural labor since it was more controlled and I got pain relief.

Anyway, today the Dr. suggested we schedule an induction again for 38 weeks. So December 1 my baby girl is gonna get evicted and I'm gonna be one happy mother to not be pregnant anymore and have my daughter. My DH's office is 45 minutes away and my Dr. is 45 minutes away and thats with no traffic so now I don't have to worry about giving birth in my living room to the horror of my 3 kids while waiting for DH or in the car on the way to the hospital. And my Dr. said that he is very concerned if don't induce I may not make it.

So I've only got 11 1/2 weeks left and counting!!!!

Marci, that's awesome that you know when you're going to deliver. I was induced with my first one, and if I had a choice...I'd be induced again. The ob's at the clinic I go to are notorius for offering induction. We live at least 45 minutes from the hospital (closer to 60 min).
How's the pregnancy going?

Marci, if we do decide to have another baby, that is what I am planning on doing. My babies come too fast for an epidural and this last time had me SCREEEEEEEAMING from the pain....So, the doctor will have to induce or I am changing doctors!

That's my daughter's b-day. She'll be 2 this year!!!

Lucky you, I got induced 3 days before Dec. 1st, and she was my second. I'm the opposite of you, LONG labors...... Hopefully this time will be different.
