I recently re-discovered Avon. I wanted to share/review a couple of products. Avon's minerale makeup is wonderful. Before this I had never used mineral makeup. I will never use anything else. And the price only 7.99. I got medium beige and the match was right one.

Avon MagiX face perfector is a wonderful product. its a gel that turns powder once applied. Prevents shine. A very little goes a long way. Perfect under mineral makeup or on its own. I think the price was 6.99.

Avon Astonishing Length Mascara is great. I usually use the drugstore brand that comes in the pink tube (?Mabelline). This was on sale for 2.99 and I should have bought more. Separates and lengthens without clumps.

Avon in a Wink instant eyeshadow sheets. I dont normally wear eye shadow but I saw this product reviewed on youtube. Color goes on in a wink. Blends very easily. Looks good. My only regret I purchased taupe color and I should have gotten a pink, or purple color.

Four nail colors: Coral Bikini and Tropical Punch perfect summer colors. Lagoon and Midnight Plum perfect for toes.

Lipcolor - Sparkling Peach - perfect shimmer for summer nights. Compliments tanned skin.

I found a sample of Anew for 25 cents at church garage sale. I really do like that product. A few weeks or so ago, I found the mother lode of Mary Kay, eye shadows and bases. I stocked up. I put my stock in the frig.
 
I've been selling Avon for over 15 years. I love their products. As for the Mineral Makeup, I have used several:

Bare Minerals
Sheer Cover
Maybelline's line

And the best hands down is Avon's. I love it. Goes on easily, stays on all day, tons of colors to find your correct complexion and it doesn't irriate my skin. I was allergic to Maybelline's line. Bare Minerals is extremely expensive, I think $25 for a pot of foundation. Avon's is $7.99 on sale. And I honestly think it's much better the Bare Minerals.

Thanks for the recommendation of the MagiX face perfector. I was wondering how it would be used with mineral foundation. I have some at home and will try it under my foundation.
 
I have been using Avon's Minerals too. I have to mix the two lighter colors to get my color, but that is the great thing about the minerals. It stays on better than the others that I have used. I also think I get a little more coverage. The only thing that I found is I can not use a dampened brush with it or apply till all moisturizer is soaked in. It tends to become kind of pastey. I think because it has kaolin in it. I will have to check out the MagI. My dil sells Avon.
 
Hey Avon-ites, do you have any recommendations/opinions about their anti-aging and anti-wrinkle products? I can't even think of the name of any of them right now except Anew... I've been hearing a lot about them, but would love some first hand reviews.
 
I used to use Avon's Clinical line of products and they worked well. But, I haven't used it in quite some time because my dd works in dermatology and brings me home stuff. I did just purchase the Anew Rejuvinate Mineral facial rinse off treatment. I tried it this morning but I guess I need to use it a few times. I think it says 3 times a week. I just got one of their mineral lipsticks and I think that I am really going to like it.

Mineral makeup discontinued

Ugh, I just read on avon.com they are discontinuing the mineral makeup!!! I just found this product and love it. I cant believe they are going to get rid of something so good. You should read the reviews, customers are begging them to keep the product. Ugh!!!!!:mad:​
