My 15 year old son..

My six foot tall, 15 year old son has been lifting weights on a regular basis for about six months now. He has been using my dumbbells and bar bell. I told him he should try one of my Cathe weight training dvds.

A few days ago, he came up from the basement and said: " That Cathe is really hardcore!" He tried GS: BSB and he was very impressed. Since then, he has done GS: C/T and BSB on a regular basis. He can't believe how hard your workouts are.

So, kudos to you Cathe...my son now appreciates how hard I work out!!!!

Wow! That is so great! My 12yr. old son has done BootCamp with me, he doesn't get every move, but the kickbox and ply-jacks and such are right up his alley! When he lifts weight it is very light. I can't wait until he can join hid Dad for other weight workouts:) dmd

I have to add my 2 cents to this one. I've tried numerous times to get my enormous football player fifteen-year-old to workout with Cathe (and me), but he won't do it anymore because she shows him up big time! Those "sissy weights" they lift at school don't include things like low-ends, lunges, serious core work, or (heaven forbid!) balance challenges! Sure, he can do something like 500 pound squats (with some kind of special machine I don't know anything about), but can he do a Cathe workout all the way through without stopping? Nope! Way to go, Cathe. You are TOUGH!

Yep! I hear you on this one. There is a BIG difference between lifting heavy weight and being fit. My husband now knows the difference...He took a break from Cathe's workouts for a while to train with a buddy who needed a spotter. His friend worked out the traditional way guys like to work out: turn on some rock music, hit the weights, so many reps at so much weight, rest between sets...Well, my DH did this for a couple of months and thought it was okay for a change. When he returned to Cathe's PS series he was floored at how much his stamina and endurance suffered. dmd
