Music

I have been doing X10 or I should say trying to do the entire killer workout LOL. It is hard but good and effective. It has great music but I have hard time recognising the song. Was wondering if anybody knows the name of the first song of "step" workout. Thank you!

All the songs in that set of workouts (X10, Party Rockin' Step, etc.) are what I call "Franken-songs", meaning they're close copies of popular pop songs but they've changed the lyrics and instrumental portions just enough to avoid paying premium fees for use of the true song. So, I don't think you'd actually find the exact song as it's played in the workout, unless you somehow found the music producer that creates those "Franken-songs".

The Franken-songs also make it difficult at times to identify what the original song was supposed to be.

I don't have X10, so I can't for sure get a long enough listen to the tracks in the Step portion of the workout just from watching the preview clip. Some of the music in the workout sounds like rips from Katy Perry, but I could be wrong.

Hopefully someone with a more attuned ear can help you identify the actual real song the music is based off of.

Funny, I thought the music would have been great if the lyrics weren't fake. As a music person, I thought this was a bad idea. It was kinda silly. I am glad Cathe creates a no music option on her dvds. I think a driving beat of instrumentals is better than having vocals. Some of the music You Tube fitness instructors use sounds horrible, like the singer sucked on a helium balloon. All AI generated I'm sure, anyway. I miss the old days of videos with decent music.

The warmup song in the X10 step workout is a sound alike to F**kin' Perfect by P!NK :)
I am not talking about the warmup. I am taking the step workout itself. The lyrics says something like ‘ get to my level’ but i can’t hear very well to be able to google it
