MuscleMax question for kathryn

Kathryn (or anyone else),

I notice you often substitute different exercises and are careful about stressing the shoulders, etc. so I'm addressing this to you, but anyone else can share their thoughts too!

Do you do that new move Cathe does in MuscleMax - the barbell front raise/rear delt squeeze? It feels a little awkward to me and I was just wanting your take on it. I have neck problems so I have to be careful what I do.

Also, same thing in Muscle Endurance - I've torqued my neck doing the Clean 'n Press. Do you do those as well?

I do the exercise, but I really go down in weight (I used my 9# body bar) and concentrate on the squeeze. If I were to substitute, I would probably take dumbbells and do the same move, but with my elbows wider on the pull at the back.

For those, I usually use dummbbells, and substitute a bicep-curl-to-overhead-press move, with palms facing in.
