Just did ME for the first time today, wow that is one fast moving workout, I pretty much bailed on the abs section, my body just can't seem to do those side lying hip raise type things, I must be doing something wrong, but I can't get my hips off the ground!

I think I liked the workout, I'll need another go at it.

This week I did more of these circuit styles (MM, Super Sets, and ME) mixed in with 3 days of kickboxing. I think I'll do the same next week.
 
IIRC, That move is like a side plank with the hip dipping up and down. If you can do the dip, then hold the plank as long as you can. HTH.
 
ME was one of the first Cathe workouts I saw on Fit TV years ago. I could hardly move for days afterward! The hip lifts get easier - they are super-challenging, though!

The barbell lunges after the second round of leg presses used to make me cry. In pain. So hard!

Have you tried doing the abs section first? I do that with almost all of Cathe's DVDs and it seems to make things a bit easier.

Good tip on doing the abs first, I'll give that a shot. And I didn't really think of it as a plank, but I can't even seem to get up ;) Maybe with the visual of a plank I'll be able to figure it out. Thanks!
