Muscle Endurance Abs !!

I was wondering last night as I was watching the time get down to 5:50 left in the workout if anyone else thinks the abs in ME x( well you know really bite!! The ab section is 9 minutes long and at 5:50 they are OVER :D . All but one time, I have had to modify one of the parts. For example not use the medicine ball on one part. Just wondering if it was just me. .....Sami
 
It is not just you!! The ab section in ME is tough to me. I have progressed to the point that I can do the entire ab section; however, when it comes to the part at the very end when you push your legs with your hands and resist back with your legs (hope I described this in an understandable way), I have to take a very short break. I don't know if it's because my legs are exhausted at this point, or if it's because I am exhausted period. I love it though!!

Hi Sami,
I did Muscle Endurance this morning. It is one of my favorites.
I will say by the time I get to abs I am pretty tired. I figure that I have gone this far just keep pushing the end is soon. I wish the ab section had planks I usually do a few to finish off the work out. Sometimes I will do another ab workout to really work my abs when I finish ME. I like the ab work from CXT kickboxing.
All in all Cathe is the BEST!!!

Oh Susan~~you're killing me! That's awesome you're able to "add on" to the ME ab section. By the time I'm finished- it's over for me. If I only did one modification I'm pretty proud of myself. I'll push a little harder next time - I bet you have some awesome looking abs!!

It hurts to sneeze today.....yikes it must be the day after ME!! Infact, various parts of me are just killing me, and there has been a lot of groaning in general today. I love this workout, but when you haven't done it in a while.....OW! I couldn't quite make it to the abs the other day when I did it, and last night I did them all....well almost. I love the fact that even after the two plus year of working out with Cathe I still think she is trying to kill me! Donna.
 
Those oblique twists are it! I cannot do one yet, the same way Cathe is doing them! With the med ball, do you notice her elbows nearly touch the floor?

This is one tough ab section. I'm workin' away at it though.

I know your pain! I did ME earlier in the week, and believe the ab work in this one is some of the best I've *ever* done! Yum!

I love this section and the warm-up music is my favorite from the whole IS bunch. I'm not to big on plank work as it numbs my hands and wrists but there is enough variety that I feel good, but sore. I can't go up as high with the ball, or even without but I can do those oblique twists now.

I'm about to do ME. It's one of those workouts I love when it is over and feel really good about suffering through. Right now as I contemplate doing it....I'm not excatly loving it. My body is still readjusting to my early morning workout schedule. Here I go!x(
