muscle between knee and quads

I wasn't aware that there was a muscle between the knee and the quads: isn't that just the superior development of the attachment/head of one of the quads' muscles that you can see in people with great definition?

In which case your answer is squats, plie squats, lunges......

Those "firewalkers" that Cathe does with a band, or the ones in 4DS done while seated.
