Muffin baking question

Can you take a muffin mix and bake it in a small loaf pan - the ones that are about five or six long and about three inches wide? OR does it have to be ain a proper muffin tin?

Should you sweeten the fruit before you mix it into the batter?

I'm sure you could bake it in a loaf pan, but your cooking time may need to be adjusted, maybe longer????As far as sweetening the fruit, I don't think it matters when, cause it will all be mixed in together.

Yes, you could make your muffin mix into a loaf. Just make sure you increase your baking time. I would say start checking after about 45 minutes, depending on the size of the pan.

And you don't have to sweeten fruit before adding it
