Gorillas in the Mist - I've seen it once and can never watch it again. Thank goodness I saw it at home - forget kleenex, I was using paper towels!

An old movie from the 70s called - Six Weeks. The scene near the end where they are on the subway - everybody is happy and then - pow - the hit you between the eyes. Hysterical.

And The Joy Luck Club. The entire theater was just sobbing - you could hear people whenever the sound in the movie dropped a little.

Hotel Rwanda. After I regained my composure, I just sat there for about 30 minutes, numb. Unbelievable how truly evil and uncompassionate humans can be. How this could have been permitted to happen at this point in history. It just killed me.

Of course, ET; anything when animals die; Schindler's List - the first time; Life is Beautiful - the first time.

And also...just saw Pursuit of Happyness this weekend...omigosh, balled my eyes out!!! I mean, at the end, I literally left with a headache from crying so much. That movie really got to me for some reason.

If you haven't seen it...bring the tissues!!!

Yes! That's actually a remake of the 1930s movie that made Jackie Cooper famous. Sparrow if you haven't seen the original go rent it tonight--it's just as good, if not better than the remake. Especially if you love B&W melodrama the way I do.

for me i distinctly remember bawling in Tears of the Sun. watching how horrible people can be is just so disturbing to me.

i also cried in the remake of king kong (he was so lifelike)

i starting crying reading what kathryn wrote about gorrilas in the mist. I could never watch this movie if that is a scene. i make it a point not to watch movies with animals in them...regardless of how good they may turn out in the end.
