Movies for Halloween..

All those cheesy "Halloween" movies, especially the very first one with Jamie Lee Curtis!

"The Shining", of course!! I hate what Stanley Kubrick did to Stephen King's book, but casting Jack Nicholson in the lead was a stroke of pure genius!!

"Day of the Triffids"!! LOL!! Anyone remember that one?

RE: HeyC!

O! Oooo! Here are my favorites in order!

#1. Donnie Darko (Love the demented bunny!)
#2. The Sixth Sense (Watch is once every year)
#3. The Others (Best ghost story ever)
#4. Secret Window (Johnny Depp, need I say more)
#5. Dead Calm (Don't watch this alone!)

RE: HeyC!

I'm so glad that futurefitnessdynamo shares my crush!! I just recently went to a theater where they were showing Fright Night on the big screen--and I must admit that "Jerry Dandridge" is the hottest vampire ever!!! Amanda Bearse (Marcy from Married w/Children) drives me a little nuts, though, but it's worth it!!!

RE: HeyC!

I actually think the scariest movie of all time is The Enity. Anyone seen that? Now that (based on a true story) really upset me.

Wayne.

Yes, that was creepy. Though I mostly remember it for the prosthetic "moving" breasts that Barbara Hershey wore in it.

I think a lot of the scariest movies are those where you really don't see much of the monster.

Another scary one: the Sentinal

RE: Hey T!!!

"Rosemary's Baby" - I found the movie to be amazingly true to the book. Better yet, read the book. It's a quick read.
