Hey guys! I feel really energetic...spring fever I guess. This is what I'm trying this week:
M: KPC
T: BodyMax
W: SJP Step only/SB Challenge only/MIC Hi/LO only/SJP Hi/Lo only
Th: PH through abs/PUB Up only minus abs & stretch/come back and do PH stretch
F: Imax 2/BC Cardio only(as much as I can do)/BC stretch
Sa:ME stretch/ME abs/ME weight work minus stretch/PLB one set of 12 of each exercise at heaviest weight/PLB Stability ball only/PS floor only(maybe...we'll see...I may do floor work from one or the other)
Su:Rest
I may substitute a run for one of the scheduled cardio's. Hope you two have a great week!

Hi ladies.....off to do PUB, TS #4 cardio, and the ball work from PLB. I will write more tomorrow, take care!!!!!
Lori

Hey Randi and Lori,
I just completed KPC. Before I moved on to the ab work in KPC I did the sequential power kicks from Cardio Kicks. Then I finished up with the ab work and stretch from KPC. I got to workout quite early today and now I'm done and it's before 6:00 p.m....woo hoo! :7

Randi....where are you?? I hope you are ok??

Today I am doing Imax Extreme, the cardio portions only. I really like that workout. I am sore today from PUB, I love that one also!!!! This smaller lower body rotation is going good for me. I am going on my 4th week. For me to stick to a rotation that long is a miracle!!!! I hope to do it at least 2 more weeks. I bid on the Firm Classics on Ebay, and I won. I am going to do a rotation with those when I get sick of this one, and then maybe go back to it. I used to have all of the Firms, but I sold them on Ebay. I miss them, just for a short change of pace once in awhile. I am looking forward to getting them.
Lori

Hi! I went into the office yesterday and was really busy, too busy to log on and post. Today's been more of the same but I'm at home so it's a bit easier.

I think I posted my Sunday workout, right? I roped for 25 min., did the PLB stability ball work, PUB core and some of the stretch segments from CIO. Yesterday I did PUB down, the ankle wt. premix from L&G and KPC abs.

Here's what I have planned for the rest of the week:

T: 25 min. roping/LL/LL abs and KPC core; if I have time I want to do the KPC cardio cond. premix
W: PUB down/IMAX2/PLB ball work/LG ankle wt. premix/SJP abs
Th: 25 min. roping/LG standing up to ankle wt. work/PUB core (*going into the office today - have to maximize my time)
F: PUB down/KPC cardio cond. premix/LG ankle wt. premix/PLB ball work/KPC core
S: 25 min. roping/LG standing only premix/PUB core
S: 25 min. roping/PLB ball work/SJP and KPC abs/stretching

It's all tentative at this point in a way - depending on how much time I have I may have to switch things around. I had a good workout week last week though so I'm looking to do more of the same and also begin jumping rope again on a regular basis.

I hope you win your auction Lori! How's the smaller lower body rotation working out for you? I'm having mixed results with freestyle right now but I'm sticking with it a while longer to see what happens.

Have a great day!

ttyl,

Randi

Congrats on winning your bid Lori! Randi, your rotation looks killer. I hope your week goes well. I just finished BodyMax...again done a little before 6:00 p.m. I love getting done that early. It is cold and rainy here. Talk to you tomorrow!

I am looking forward to getting the Firms...Just a change....I would never go back to them though!!! The Classics are the best, I do not like the ones they put out now, too short, too easy. Even the Classics are easy compared to Cathe.

My Smaller Lower Body Rotation is going GREAT. I can see my hips and butt are smaller. Walking down the hall yesterday, I have a mirrored Curio Cabinet at the end of it, and I can definitely see my hips look smaller. This week, on Monday morning, I am going to take my measurements.

Today is L&G. I make my own Extreme by doing some of the excercises that I like best, twice. My Ub is still a little sore from PUB Monday. Tomorrow is the PS Series.

Take care, and glad you are ok Randi!!! How is your Self Challenge going Angela???
Lori

Lori,
Isn't great to see results? Keep up the awesome job! The Self Challenge is going well. I am definitely making healthier eating choices for my 3 meals. I am not picking at school, but my downfall is snacking in the evening. I weighed myself during that time of month and I had not gained but I have not lost. That is totally due to diet. I am going to keep at it though. I tend to go to extremes...either I'm ultra restrictive or too lenient in my diet. I have not gone to either extreme since I've started the Self Challenge and that is good. I think change will be a lot slower since I only want to lose 10 pounds and I'm not going to starve to do it. I am completing my 4th week so now that I've got the breakfast, lunch, and dinner down I will focus on after school snacking and how to make that healthier. Tonight I did cardio....SJP Step only/SB Challenge only/MIC Hi/lo Only/SJP Hi/Lo #'s 1,2, & 3 only/L&G stretch only...It felt really good. I forgot to breathe deeply during a hi/lo section of MIC and got a cramp in my right side. It reminded me of P.E. class...I would get nervous about being last or too slow and the boys would be watching us...and I would take these shallow breaths and get so cramped. It was kind of funny. Once I started taking deeper breaths the cramp went away. Tee hee! Have a good night! Hi Randi!

Good Morning girls....Today I am going to do TS#3 cardio, and the PS UB tapes. My UB is not sore finally today, but my buns are from yesterday's TS #5 workout. I did over an hour on my legs, and I can feel it today. Today I am going shopping w/ my daughter, and I am looking forward to it. Hope everyone has a good day.
Lori

Hi girls,

I can't remember when I posted last, but today was another rest day (Tuesday wound up being one as well). I was just too tired to exercise this morning and I had to come into the office today so I decided to skip it. Anyway, yesterday I jumped rope for 30 min. (which took me an hour, with baby interruptions and such), did PUB down, LG standing only and SJP abs. I have to redo my week but I'll be doing roping for cardio mostly and maybe one day of longer cardio with SB b/c I like it so much. Tomorrow the plan is jumping rope, PUB down again, LL and LL abs and PUB core.

ttyl!

Randi

Hey Randi and Lori!
I just completed ME. I was supposed to do PH but I will do that Saturday. The really funny thing is I thought that I was going to do PUB Up only AFTER ME to fry my arms...LOL!!! I may still give that a try sometime BUT I think I was being a little ambitious...tee hee. The good thing is that I didn't feel like I was going to DIE during ME. I felt really worked to the max...especially my shoulders. I did better on the static lunges. I still only do 20 pounds on the barbell for those in ME and I can only do 30lb. on the BB for the squats. I was thinking the squats were pretty easy and I was going to make a note to increase my weight next time until the low ends...I forgot about those...then my legs were SCREAMING! I used to have to stop and rest before completing the set. I think the pyramids and PS have helped me a lot. I am checking into this staggering your calories idea. I want to finish the Self Challenge though before I try that. Have a good one!

Hi Ladies.....Today is KPC. Man, my energy feels low, but I will do it. Maybe 5 cups of coffee this morning, instead of 4?? Have a good weekend ladies. Talk to you soon.
Lori

Good afternoon ladies!

I'm working from home today. When (if? lol) Nicholas takes his afternoon nap I'm going to jump rope for 25-30 min. and start my strength work, hopefully :). You know how dicey things can get around here though. I'm planning on doing LL and PUB down, and LL and PUB abs/core.

I really love PUB down. I've been able to go heavier and I'm seeing some nice changes in my upper body. Working my abs every day is giving me good results too - I'm getting stronger there, finally. Pikes on the ball are not as difficult now. Still difficult, but not impossible, kwim? My lower body is coming along nicely, slowly though. That's to be expected I guess. Oh, and I realized that I really don't like PLB. It just doesn't click with me. I like the stability ball work though.

Lori, I'm sending you high energy vibes for KPC! I haven't attempted that workout in its entirety since I got it. You're one brave woman. I don't like how the intensity goes down after the cardio conditioning - I find the drills all together like that kind of tedious.

Anyway, I better get back to work. Have a great Friday!

ttyl,

Randi

WOW!!!! 5 cups of coffee Lori? Tee hee...your week has been tougher than even mine....and mine's been pretty tough. Today I am supposed to do Imax 2 with the BC cardio(as much as I can handle) but I need to work out RIGHT NOW if I'm going to fit it in before small group tonight. If not I will do it tomorrow after PH or on Sunday. I'm kind of getting in that workout mood though so we'll see. I am SICK to death of calorie counting and thinking about food. I may just forget it for a while. I don't mean go all out, but I sometimes wonder if calorie counting all the time causes me to think about food more resulting in no success. I just don't want to deal with it anymore. I know what to eat and what not to eat or at least what not to go overboard on. I also can't figure out this staggering calorie method and I have to understand before I can/will try it. Anyway, blah, blah, blah....that's how I feel about food and calories and the M&M "pockets" on my blasted hips.

Randi...I find the intensity in KPC to be quite high...I really work on my form...sucking in my gut...proper stance....punching with gusto...and I'm very winded and sweaty! I do have to be in the mood for this one though.
Tomorrow hubby and I are getting up and going to breakfast then we are going to the health fair the PE teacher at my school is hosting.

Have a great weekend you two!
Angela:7

Angela- I drink 4 cups almost every morning, sometimes 3, and sometimes 5, but usually always 4. I make my coffee pretty weak, I only use 2 T. for a whole pot, so I drink it more for the enjoyment of it than anything else.

Randi- KPC is a killer. I am always drenched after that workout, but I really like it!!!!

Tomorrow is SJP. I like that one too, except for the hi/lo, it is really tough for me!!!!

Angela- I did want to ask you how you core was looking?? Since I have been doing the Smaller Lower Body Rotation, I can see mine does look better. I have been working my abs 4-5 times a week. I still can not do the pikes, I usually just hold the plank position while on the ball, but I can see they are getting better. Hopefully I make them strong enough to do those one day. I can do a couple and then I die.

Have a good weekend you two!!!!!
Lori

Good morning! I got up a little before 7 and did Imax 2 this morning. I finished with L&G stretch...love that one. I hope to go ahead and do PH tonight, but if not I will do it tomorrow. We are going out for breakfast and then we're off to the Health and Safety Fair at school. Have a great Saturday!
Angela:7

Well,
Last night I did PH. Randi, I find that I need to do pikes when I am fresh...first thing and I do a lot better. My core is looking better and I'm finding that I "feel" it the next day going back to some older more "standard" ab workouts such as in BodyMax and the Pure Strength series. I was trying to work them out twice a week for 15 minutes ala the Self Challenge but I just can't concentrate on my abs for that long and they get too tired. I am going to buy this magazine I saw yesterday...I think Energy or something. They have an article I want to check out about 3 days on 1 day off with regards to eating. Anyway...I think that I have decided to do Cathe's January rotation for the next four weeks. Later ladies!:7

Angela, you funny girl, I, Lori, asked you about your core!!!! But.pu made me smile, and that is good. I needed an extra smile today, and everyday. Smiling is good, and sometimes we do not do enough of it.

Today is my rest day. I weigh-in on Sundays, and I lost 1 more lb. I was very happy because I took a "Free Day" last Sunday. I did not totally pig out, but I did not count points either. I also took my measurements from doing the LB Rotation. In 4 weeks, I lost 3/4" off my hips, and 3/4" off each thigh. I do not think I have ever gotten such good results. Of course, I never stuck with anything longer than 2 weeks either, but I bought 2 pairs of 8's pants this week, and I am swimming in both. That is good!!!!! I ALWAYS take an 8 no matter what I do.

I never stick to anything. I am quite surprised at myself. I did very well at the Discovery Challenge while I did it, now I have done very well at WW's and lost 4.5 lbs. in 4 weeks, and I have stuck to a rotation for 4 weeks. Whew, I must be losin' it or something.

Hope your weekend was good you too.
Lori

Oops!!! Sorry Lori...tee hee. Congrats on the weight loss and doing so well on your rotation. Keep up the great work! Oh...I forgot to add...plank work has gotten much easier for me now. My form is really good and I can feel the work where I'm supposed to! Talk to ya tomorrow!
Angela:7

Hi girls! It's the end of the weekend already, and it's snowing here, can you believe it??? I hope this means that all of the cold weather will be gone before Easter weekend.

I had good workouts this weekend - today I did combos 2, 3 and the challenge from SB and L&G standing only (minus the ankle wt. work). Yesterday I jumped rope for 40 min. (didn't really mean to go this long), did the ankle wt. premix from L&G, the stability ball work from PLB and the core work from PUB. Had some trouble with those pikes though! On Friday, let's see...I jumped rope for 30 min., did PUB down, LL and core work from KPC? I can't remember. I wrote it down somewhere though I hope, lol.

Lori, congratulations on your great success with the LB rotation! Those are fantastic results. Angela, I'm with you on the eating issue. I'm sick of worrying about everything I put into my mouth. It gets old after a while, kwim?

I'm going out of town this weekend (Thurs. night) so no workouts for me from Fri-Sun. Well, maybe Sunday but I doubt it. I have to plan my week accordingly.

Talk to you tomorrow!

Take care,

Randi
