Hey guys! I will officially begin the Self Challenge tomorrow! I have bought my groceries and I'm good to go. On the Self Challenge I am supposed to do cardio 3x's for 30 min./strength 2 x's for 20 min./abs 2 x's. I will work it this way:
M: Imax
T: PUB/PLB Bonus Combo or PP/SS
W: CK or KPC or run(no ab work)
Th: SJP step only(short cardio...tee hee...just to get me warmed up)/PLB stability ball/L&G Ankle weight premix/PUB abs/SJP abs
F: MIC WU Hi/Lo/SB/SJP Cardio Circuit Premix minus WU
S: PH/ME abs only or PP/SS
Sun:Rest
On cardio days I may switch around what I do depending on the weather and if I feel like running. Yesterday my husband and I went running b/c the weather was gorgeous! On my weight days I haven't decided what type of weight work I want to focus on. Here's to a great week!

Good morning! It sounds like you have a great week planned, as usual, Angela :)! I did Step Blast yesterday and had so much fun. I'm just piecing my week together now as I type, so it may change depending on my mood. Basically, I want to get in at least 2 upper body workouts, 5-6 lower body workouts and 4 cardios. Here's what I have planned:

Mon: PUB/PLB bonus combo (done)
Tue: KPC/LG 82 min. premix
Wed: PUB/PLB bonus combo/SJP abs + 30 min. interval cardio at gym
Thu: LL/PLB stability ball/PUB abs + 30 min. cardio at gym
Fri: BC/ME bonus combo (I may count this as a cardio, don't know yet)
Sat: Rhythmic Step/PLB stability ball/LG ankle weight premix
Sun: Rest

That's what I have so far. I did the PUB/PLB bonus combo for the first time ever this a.m. and I really liked it. I was going to do PUB pyramid up anyway and this combined the two w/os perfectly IMO. This morning went well - my son woke up right as I was putting in the dvd and my husband actually put him back to sleep by himself! I had a great workout after that.

I just completed Imax...it is amazing what your body can do after one extra rest day. I actually rested on Friday and Sunday instead of my usual one rest day and Imax was hard but I was able to give it my all and complete all the intervals! I love that feeling. I can't wait to do strength tomorrow WITHOUT cardio. I am very excited and ready to eat properly. So far no hunger. I ate half a luna bar before my workout and half after. I ate more for breakfast than usual but broke breakfast up into a late morning snack. I just can't eat a lot first thing in the morning.
Randi, I am no expert but that is alot of leg work many days in a row. You may want to think about giving your legs at least one day of rest in between leg workouts. I do love the PUB/PLB Bonus Combo workout...it's a good one!

Hi Angela! Do you think that Imax is harder than Imax2? It feels that way to me. It's a great workout but I dread the last interval. I haven't done it in a while.

I can't eat before a workout either - at least not too much. If I wake up hungry I might have half a banana or something but more than that upsets my stomach.

It's a lot of leg work but I'm not using weights every day, just my own body weight mostly. The goal is to slightly overtrain your lower body (freestyle). I used weights yesterday but I won't tomorrow with L&G.

Today was an unplanned rest day - I overslept. Can't even blame this one on the baby - he was asleep this morning! Dh and I were watching tv last night while we were in bed. Not a good idea if I want to get up early - usually we don't do that. So tomorrow I'll do what I had planned for today, and so on for the rest of the week.

Where are you Lori? I hope everything is ok.

Hi guys!!!! Everything is going better. Alyssa moved back home and I enrolled her in school this morning. Hopefully she gets better. She was discharged yesterday from her day program. My Premier life gets very busy here on out also. I have 3 shows a week for the next 3-4 weeks, and I am already 6-7 shows full in April. Yesterday I was very time constrained and I only did Imax 2, 1-5. Today I am going to do one of the L&G premixes. Thanks for caring about me you guys. I really appreciate it.

Hi Lori! So glad to hear that Alyssa is doing so much better and it's great that she's going to be living with you again.

It sounds like you're going to be very busy the next month or so. Good luck with all of your shows!

Hey Randi...yes! I think Imax is much harder than Imax 2!!! I think for me it is because in Imax you do the exact same move over and over instead of doing say a couple of moves like in the Imax 2 intervals. Imax definitely went better for me after a rest day. Tonight I changed my schedule up and did PH plus ME abs. I was much stronger than before in PH which I attribute to the Pyramid workouts. NO cardio for me tonight! Woo hoo! If felt nice to just stretch out after my ab work and I think the weight work went better for me b/c my muscles were fresh instead of tired out from cardio.

Lori, you sound so busy. I wish you well. I'm glad Alyssa is back home with you. I will continue to hold you up in prayer.

Good Morning everyone. yes, I am busy with my shows, but it is a job I LOVE!!!!! After working for 18 years in that horrid factory, I love what I am doing now.

Angela- When your friend was here, did you tell her that you had an internet friend who used to work at Steelcase????

Randi- You never did say if you lost alot of inches on your Slim Series Rotation.

Well, this is my 4th day of counting points. Today my SIL, who is my Premier mom, is taking me to the EssenHaus as a celebratory lunch for getting Builder. Did I tell you guys I got Builder?? That is the 1st level of leadership in Premier. Anywho, the EssenHaus is Amish Home Cooking, and the best food I have ever eaten. Even their corn is to die for. So, I will probably be dipping into the Flex Points a little. I told my husband I would bring him home my dessert.

Today I am doing 1/2 of Imax 2 since I only did 1/2 the other day, and PUB. Talk to you later, and have a good day guys!!!!

Good morning! Angela, I agree with you about being "fresh" for the weight training when your muscles aren't tired out from cardio already. I like to do cardio before a leg workout sometimes but I don't before upper body anymore unless it's part of the workout (like Circuit Max, etc.).

This morning I did the KPC/LG premix but I changed it up a bit - I skipped a couple of the kickboxing drills and added the ankle weight premix to the end after the ab work. I had a great workout.

Lori, it's so refreshing to hear someone rave about their work! My husband loves his job also but he doesn't exactly rave about it...mostly he just loves the fact that he's challenged each day.

I didn't lose lots of inches with the SS rotation but it did lean me out some. I also didn't complete the fourth week but I don't think that would have made any difference - I saw some changes that week anyway. I don't know. I like the concept of SS and I like the workouts themselves (Debbie is great) but I don't think I'll be doing a month-long rotation with them again. Maybe one week at a time though.

Lori, enjoy the EssenHaus! We're planning a trip to the Amish country in the spring or early summer.

Hey...I'm so glad you guys are having such a great week! Tonight I pooped out...I am laying off of caffeine except my morning coffee to see if my late morning/early afternoon diet drink was affecting my insomnia....I am totally dragging. Uugh! Anyway I did MIC WU & Hi/Lo only/SB Step #1/SJP Hi/Lo #1/SB step #2 and then a stretch. My eating is good...not great but good compared to the past few weeks. I am journaling everything I eat this week. Have a good night!

Hi Guys!!!! Today I am tired, but it is a new day, and here I go....Today I am going to do KPC. I did dip into my Flex Points by 12 yesterday. But, actually for the damage I could of done, I was happy with myself. Well, I have alot to do and not much too say. Hope everyone has a good day.

Hi Lori and Angela!

I'm in late today. I had to take my daughter to a doctor's appt. for a physical she already had to be sent home by the doctor. The school was so insistent about it too - every kindergartner has to have one but she had hers in September. Anyway. The morning wasn't a total waste - I got to have breakfast with the kids and I also got my workout in w/o being too rushed. I did the PUB/PLB bonus combo, about 20+ min. of the step portion of SJP and SJP abs. I started the planks but my son started jumping on my back.

Angela, how's it going w/o caffeine? I stopped it when I was pregnant but I have to have my 2 cups of coffee each morning now. I hope you're feeling better today and that the insomnia is gone. I hate it when I can't sleep.

Lori, how was the restaurant? Sounds like you did really well...I'm not too sure how the point system works but 12 doesn't sound like a lot to me.

Well...I broke down today and had a cup of tea with lunch....I don't think I will be making this stick. Randi, I would not dream of giving up my morning coffee. I was just trying to give up my cafenated diet drink in the late morning or early afternoon. It would be so unfair to my students if I showed up at school without my morning coffee...tee hee. I went for a 5 mile run...very hilly I might add then I came back home and did PLB stretch only/PUB abs only/SJP abs only/SS stretch only/L&G stretch only. The weather was gorgeous so it was a super fabulous workout! I must hit the showers as we are going over to a friend's house for dinner. Have a great evening!

Angela, LOL re: not fair to your students :). I feel the same way about my family - if mommy doesn't get her coffee, she's a grouchy mommy! Anyway, I hope you had a good time at dinner.

This morning I did Leaner Legs, abs first as a warm up and then the leg work. I didn't get to do the stability ball work from PLB b/c I didn't have time. No gym cardio today either b/c I forgot that I have plans for lunch. I'll tack on extra cardio tomorrow to make up for today.

This week has gone well so far, my eating has been good. I'm looking forward to the weekend and not being so rushed (I hope!) with my workouts. I'd like to split up my cardio/weights this weekend too if time allows.

Good evening,
I did PS Strong Legs & Abs tonight...great workout! I absoluely loved it. I hope to own the PS series on DVD one of these days. I have waited for a month for a trade I did with someone on VF to finish my PS video collection. I hope she comes through. I priority mailed my video to her at her request and have heard nothing from her in return. There has been an emergency of some sort but I am getting worried as it has been a month. I can't wait to complete this series! Have a great weekend guys!

Good Morning girls....Today I am doing SJP. I am looking forward to it. I have only done this workout in it's entiret once, I think. It was when we did the LOOK GREAT in 4 rotation, Angela. I have a show today, had one yesterday, I so want to go to church tomorrow, but I have a feeling I am going to die instead. These last 3 weeks have been a nonstop, go, go, go weeks. Plus, I am getting my friend, hopefully today, because it is 2 days late. I am just whipped. Hope everyone has a nice weekend.

Enjoy SJP and get some rest! I did C&W(no ab work) plus PP Upper Body only and stretch. I am having a suprise birthday party for my husband tonight...tee hee. I really think he has no idea about tonight....I can't wait! Have a great rest of the weekend ladies!
