Hi ladies! I can't believe how fast this month is going. It is half gone! I have mapped out a new plan for myself. I got the idea from a rotation I had printed off a long time ago. I had to tweak it a little bit but here is what I am planning:

Weeks 1&4
M: PS SL&A/Kickbox Cardio
T: PS CST/45 min. cardio
W: PUB Back, Biceps, & Abs/30 min. cardio
Th: Rest(SJP abs/ME abs)
F: Imax/CTX Triceps&Biceps
S: PLB/CTX Shoulders
Sun: CTX Chest&Back/KPC or cardio of choice

Weeks 2&5
M: Cardio/ME abs
T: Rest(SJP abs)
W: Interval Cardio
Th: PS SL&A/kickbox cardio
F: PS CST/45 min. cardio
S: PUB Back, Biceps, & Abs/30 min. cardio
Sun: Rest

Weeks 3&6
M: Interval cardio
T: ME
W: Kickbox Cardio
TH: SJP or BC or BodyMax
F: Cardio
S: PH
Sun: Rest

I will try to sub in running for one cardio session at least once a week. For the Self Challenge this week I am supposed to eat healthy breakfasts. I will follow their plan for breakfast to perfection this week! I will also try to follow the whole eating plan, but I like that I focus on one new goal each week. Have a good one ladies!

Good Morning ladies. Yesterday was my first weigh-in since beginning back on my points, and I lost 2 lbs. My friend arrived that day alos, so I was pretty happy with a 2 lb. lost. Of course, I ate very badly the day before I started, so I am sure I was retaining water also. But, I will take it!!! I also went out and bought a new scale, one that measures to the 10th of a lb., and it weighs me 3 lbs. heavier than my other one!!!! I wanted to take it back! BUT.....I threw out the other one, and am going to go by this one. Today I am going to do PP, 2 sets, PLB ball work, and the ab work from BC. I am starting my second week on the smaller lower body rotation. Hope everyone's weekend was good!!

Angela, I love the PS series. Your rotation sounds good.

Lori, it's funny - you bought a digital scale, right? I just got rid of mine and bought an analog scale! LOL. My digital was off so much - I'd get on and off and get a different reading each time. I decided I liked the idea of an analog scale better.

Anyway, this weekend I finished up my week with BC/ME combo on Saturday, no time for extra cardio, and Step Blast, L&G ankle weight premix and KPC abs yesterday. Today is a rest day, mostly b/c I cracked my tooth and it's so uncomfortable that I can't even consider working out until it's fixed, hopefully today. It happened on Saturday.

Here's what I have planned for my week, pretty much like last week but I want to be sure and fit more cardio in:

M: rest
T: PUB/PLB bonus combo/PUB core, 20 min. roping
W: KPC/LG premix, 82 min.
Th: PUB/PLB bonus combo/PUB core, 20 min. roping
F: IMAX2 1-5 premix/LG sculpting drills & ankle wt. premix/KPC abs
S: PUB/PLB bonus combo/PUB core, SJP step only premix
S: IMAX, PLB stability ball work/LG ankle wt. premix/KPC abs

This is relatively flexible at this point. Have to see how the week goes in terms of time in the morning. I forgot to tell you guys - this is my last week at my present job, I'll be working from home 3 days a week starting next Monday and only commuting for 2, maybe even 1. It's such a blessing. So I can't do any gym cardio b/c I have lunch dates with friends all week :).

I just finished PS SL&A/KPC High Intensity Drills & Stretch. I love PS SL&A...I don't know why I like it so much! Have a good one!

Good morning,

No workout for me today. I'm still in so much pain b/c of my tooth. The dentist couldn't do anything yesterday b/c it's infected and I have to take antibiotics before she can perform a root canal on Friday. Supposedly the antibiotics will take care of the pain in another day or so. Advil isn't helping much.

Anyway, I love PS SL&A too, don't know why! There's just something about the pace, or the order of exercises, or something. It's a great workout.

I hope I'm better by tomorrow. Tooth pain is so immobilizing. I can't stand it.

I am exactly the opposite of you guys. I do not care for the PS series, or S&H. Those are the two I use the least. Sometimes I will do the PS series, but rarely!! Today I am going to do Imax 2. I hope it is easier than I think it is going to be. I am very tired today, and feel rundown. Hopefully it wakes me up!!

Randi- what is an analog scale?? My last scale was digital, but didn't go to the 10th of a lb., it was just whole lbs. If I lose .2 of a lb. I would rather see that change than no change at all!!!

An analog scale is just a regular scale - it has all of the numbers on a dial, you know, the old fashioned kind. I'm pretty sure I'm calling it by the right name, lol. My digital scale goes to the tenth of a lb. I just kind of like seeing my weight pointed out...I can see how high it's been and exactly where I would like to see it end up, kwim? Weird mind tricks. Whatever works I guess!

Hey you two! Randi, I'm sorry to hear of your tooth troubles. It is unbelievable how much pain a toothache can cause you. Lori, glad you are doing well.

Tonight I did SJP Step only/SB Challenge only/PS CST/MIS Back only/PUB Biceps only. Since my trade fell through and I don't have the other PS upper tape I went ahead and tacked on Back and Biceps from MIS and PUB. Tomorrow I will do cardio and abs only. I got home late so I am just now fixing dinner. I will have to stay up later tonight since I got home late, exercised late, and had to eat late. Oh well....I have a planned rest day on Thursday I think. Later!

Good morning,

Sounds like you had a great workout Angela! This is yet another day without a workout for me. We had a big snowstorm yesterday and it took us 3 hours to get home. Needless to say I got to bed really late, and when 4 a.m. came this morning I decided to sleep in. My tooth is still hurting anyway, I hope Friday isn't a huge disaster. I've never had a root canal before and I'm nervous.

As far as my planned rotation for the week goes, I'm just going to start with day one and let it run through next week instead of starting over again on Monday, kwim? I think it'll work better that way.

Randi- I would not be excited about a root canal either. The dr. I do not mind, but the dentist, I dislike going there. BUT....You will feel so much better when it is over so good does come with the dentist!!! I will say a little prayer for you on that day.

Angela- I can't believe you take rest days. You remind me of an Energizer Bunny with your workouts.

Well, today I am going to do L&G. Last week I did Extreme, this week I think I am just going to do the workout as is, and a few of the parts do twice. I am tired again today. i got home very late last night, and up early today. Take care everyone!!

Just think next week at this time the root canal will be a thing of the past. I too will say a prayer for you. I've never had a root canal. I hope you are able to catch up on some rest tonight.

Lori, you get some rest too. I hope to get to bed at a decent hour tonight. And yes! Tomorrow is a rest day. Good thing too b/c I will be home late.

Tonight I did CTX Power Circuit WU through circuits/CTX Step & Intervals cardio only/CTX All Step Abs only. It was a great workout.

Good morning,

Thank you both for the offer of prayer for tomorrow. I'm going to need all the help I can get...I'm actually looking forward to it in a way though b/c the pain is getting to be a bit much at this point. It's been a difficult week. I got up to workout this morning and was interrupted by a fussy baby, and in the process of putting him back to sleep I overslept and had to rush to get ready for work. I hate it when that happens! And we leave so early that literally every minute counts. I'll be glad when I'm only traveling 2 days a week.

So no real w/o for me today, I started the PUB/PLB combo but didn't get very far. Tomorrow may be difficult too since we're expecting another storm so we may have to leave even earlier than usual to get to work on time. But I'm going to try again anyway, three workouts for the week is better than none. I'm looking forward to a fresh start next week though.

M&Ms! I'll be able to eat them again soon, I hope :)! I hope you enjoyed your rest day Angela. I agree with Lori - you remind me of the Energizer Bunny!

I, on the other hand, would feel like an absolute slug if it wasn't for the fact that I know I haven't been deliberately lazy this week. Nicholas threw up again this a.m. around 3:30. He has a bottle, drinks it too fast and that's what happens. Anyway, he was up for a while and then I rushed to get ready for work...only to have dh say that we'll have to wait for the snow to be plowed! Argh! I could have been working out that whole time. We got another 6 or 7 inches. Crazy weather.

I'm going to change my workout week to start on Saturday, since my new work schedule (outside the home) will be on Thurs. and Fri. This way I can get the harder stuff in before my commuting days and maybe take it easier on Friday, kwim?

Anyway, I'll talk to you all later. Root canal in 2.5 hours!

P.S. - I finally ordered the Terminator DVD together with my preorder for the high step advanced DVD. I just had to have them both...I've been eyeing the Terminator for a while now anyway. My b-day present to myself!

Randi- what state do you live in where you are still getting so much snow?? I live in MI, and I hope ours is gone for good. We have had a few flurries, but other than that, not much in the last 3 weeks. If it does snow, it is gone the next day.

Today I am supposed to do KPC. I am tired, I might end up taking a rest day, but I would rather not.

ANGELA!!! M&M"s?? WOW!!! i try to eat those as little as possible. I can look at them and they go directly to my butt.

I live in NE PA. It's still snowing on and off from what I understand. It's supposed to rain this weekend and that will hopefully melt most of it! I'm sick of it already. We've been hit four days this week.

Root canal is done, I have to go back on Monday to finish and it hurt, a lot. But I'm glad that part is over at least.

Rest days are necessary but I know what you mean. I'm thinking of doing stretch/yoga/pilates days instead just to keep my rhythm going.

LOL re: goes straight to your butt...everything I look at seems to go straight to mine, LOL! :)

Well...regarding the M&M's....I wouldn't exactly classify my butt as my greatest "ASSet"...tee hee....but ya only live once and every once in a while I enjoy some M&M's. I'm working on enjoying them less frequently though! I know I will be doing one of the Imax's in the next few minutes and some of CTX Upper. It is hard for me to work parts out...I feel uneven or something...weird huh? I may have to do all of CTX upper. Randi, glad your root canal is over. Have a great weekend you two!

I do have chocolate almost everyday. I usually have some WW's MooseTracks every night. I eat very clean all day, and then that is my treat. MooseTracks is my downfall. I could eat it forever. I love ice cream. But, I have been sticking to my points and doing good. I ended up taking a rest day yesterday, so today it will be SJP, and tomorrow it will be KPC.

Randi- I am glad the root canal is over!!!! I hope you are feeling even better today.

Angela- Nothing wrong with M&M's, those are just VERY hard for me to control!!!

Yesterday ended up being an unscheduled rest day. Today I hope to do CTX All Step WU&Cardio only/PLB/SJP abs only/ME abs only. Have a great Sunday!
