Hey Lori and Randi,
Lori, I hope you had a successful weekend. Randi, congrats on finding the new shoes. Finding good workout shoes is always an ordeal for myself. I finally found a GREAT pair of shoes...New Balance 765. I also have a new pair of Gel asics 1090's but my feet fall asleep when I'm doing cardio. I do use them when I am doing weight lifting only. Well, I hope to incorporate more of the Intensity Series into my next rotation. Here is what I think I will be doing this week:
M: BC everything but core premix/L&G minus WU
T: SB/SJP Cardio Circuit premix/BC core only premix
W: PUB/Imax 1-5
Th: PLB/Imax 6-10
F: KPC
S: C&W/SS minus WU
Sun: Rest
I hope to do Imax 2 today and maybe some ab work. Here'e to a great week ladies!

Lori, I hope your weekend went well! Angela, you have a good workout week planned. I haven't done the Pyramids in a long time. Next rotation, I guess!

Today I did Shape It Up and I brought my gym bag so I can do cardio at lunchtime. My plan is to do SS again this week together with four cardio workouts at the gym. Two interval and two steady state, I think.

All in all I'm feeling pretty good. SS seems to bring out my abs and I like being able to see that progress. It gives me encouragement :).

Hi girls!!!! I did have a great weekend. It was fun, and the new jewelry is awesome!!!! I will do Shape It Up today. I hope everyone has a good day.

Hello:

Boy last week was not good. I did CTX twice then we eat out a lot this weekend and it wasn't pretty. So I was feeling very flabby this morning and therefore did IMAX2. Boy that really helped me feel better. My plan is to do CTX this week and then do Rhythmic Step this weekend.

I did get in Shape It Up! today. I only going to do the Slim Series this week, no added cardio. Maybe next week. I have a very full week this week, 3 shows, plus everything else. So, I am just sticking to the series this week. Have a good day everyone!!

I went to the gym on my lunch hour and did a half hour interval w/o on the treadmill. If I can manage to go tomorrow again tomorrow morning, I'll do a steady state w/o on another piece of equipment or maybe I'll just stick with the treadmill. We'll see.

My new running shoes feel so good on my feet! It was a good workout.

I'm pretty sure that the Slim Series on its own is enough exercise. The cardio is just an added "bonus" so don't worry about not doing it this week. Next week will be difficult for me since I'll have company, but my plan is to do what I do now - get up before everyone else and exercise.

Welcome Stacy! Hi Lori & Randi! I'm glad you had a good weekend Lori! It sounds like you guys have busy weeks coming up. Tomorrow I have a fun cardio planned as I will have at minimum a 2 hour special education meeting after school explaining all the changes that will supposedly align us with federal guidelines. The funny thing is we never do anything the same way two years in a row, but this year is supposed to be THE YEAR whatever that means. After that meeting I will need to turn the music up and do some major cardio! Anyway, I had a great workout tonight. I did BC everything but core premix minus stretch/L&G minus WU as planned. My endurance has gone up and BC is not as hard as it once was! Woo hoo! Talk with you all tomorrow!

Welcome Stacy! Hi Angela and Lori!

I was supposed to do Firm It Up this morning (the lower body workout) but Nicholas was fussy and stayed up for the entire hour that I usually exercise. So, I had my bag packed at least and I went to the gym for cardio this morning - 30 min. steady state on the treadmill. Here's the plan for the rest of my week:

Tue: 30 min. cardio - done
Wed: Firm It Up
Thu: Mix It Up + 30 min. cardio
Fri: Tear It Up + 30 min. cardio
Sat: Tone It Up
Sun: Skiing! We'll see about this one. I've only been once before.

I was trying to avoid a Sat. workout but it's inevitable.

Another meeting Angela...I feel for you! A good, hard cardio session will relieve your stress :).

Whew! I just got back! I'm off about to do SB/SJP Cardio Circuit Premix/BC core only or another ab workout of choice. I will check in later!

How're things going Lori? What SS workout are you doing today?

I did Firm It Up this morning, minus w/u and c/d. Nicholas was up, again, and lucky for me fell asleep in time for me to have 45 min. to exercise. No cardio today - I'm glad I don't have that big bag to lug around, LOL.

Tomorrow the plan is Mix It Up and cardio. I may just do Tone It Up though instead and do Mix It Up on Saturday...not sure yet. Tone It Up is my favorite of the series.

What are you all up to today?

Hey Randi,
My workout yesterday was great. Today I hope to do Imax Intervals 1-5 and PUB. I didn't sleep well last night. I got to bed a little after 11 and tosed and turned. Then I woke up and couldn't go back to sleep. I finally just got out of bed at 4:15. I can't stand laying in bed wide awake! I may take a little snooze before working out. I'm glad you got your workout in. A friend of mine at work just started Power 90. Isn't that series made by the same people who make SS? She is excited to get started on it. See you tomorrow!

Good morning,

I hate it when I can't sleep. It happened to me quite a bit during my last pregnancy and shows up every once in a while...sometimes it's just easier to forget sleep and get out of bed. Hope you rest better tonight Angela.

Lori, sorry you didn't get your workout in. I know how it is to feel like my "schedule" is all messed up!

This morning I did Tone It Up instead of Mix It Up as planned. Again, only had 45-50 min. to exercise so I shortened the w/u and skipped the c/d entirely. But I did get the rest of the workout in and this one is a favorite of mine. I also brought my gym bag and I'll do cardio on my lunch hour.

Tomorrow I plan to do Tear It Up and cardio at the gym.

What's everyone doing today?

Randi- I am going to start the rotation in thwe rotation forums using Cathe and SS. Today I am going to do PUB., then tomorrow a cardio, then a SS, then a cardio, then a Cathe LB, etc. I have to go to the bank, and then I am off to do PUB. Try to write more tomorrow.

Well, cardio is done for the day. Couldn't find a free treadmill so I did an interval w/o on the elliptical instead.

I'll have to check the rotation forum for the SS/Cathe rotation Lori. I'm not getting too antsy to get back to my Cathes, yet, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time. I'm seeing some nice results though so I'm going to stick with it for at least the next two weeks, just to see what I come up with at the end. I do miss my heavier weight work, that's for sure.

I did PLB & Imax Intervals 6-10 whew! Today we walked to the fire station right across the street from my school. Yucky, rainy, cold weather, but we did it anyway as the rain let up. Tomorrow is our big Valentines Day party. The children are excited. It will be nice to have a long three day weekend. Hubby is taking me to my favorite restaurant on Saturday for a nice steak dinner. Well, keep up the great work ladies! Lori, we all have those busy times. Just do the best you can and don't wear yourself out. Randi, I've heard the elliptical machine a great cardio workout. My friend has one. I would like to try it out sometime. Have a great night!

Well, no workout for me today. Not yet at least, but I doubt I'll have time for one tonight. My son woke us up in the middle of the night coughing, so hard that he threw up all over me and everything else. Not fun and by the time we were all cleaned up and he was back in bed I wasn't able to get back to sleep right away. So I slept in even though I didn't sleep well.

Anyway, today I was going to do Tear It Up, IF I have time tonight I'll do Mix It Up but if I don't, I'll just do TIU tomorrow morning instead with maybe 20 min. or so of jump roping.

No real V-Day plans, we have company coming in like I said, but I'm pretty sure dh got me something anyway. I don't have anything for him yet though.

I like the elliptical but it's only recently that I've learned how to use it w/o my feet going numb, LOL! I still think it's made for people taller than me.

Anyway, I'd better get to work.

I still did not work out yesterday, but at least my eating was perfect. I am going to do Tear it Up today, and then some sort of cardio tomorrow. Sounds like all of us have had busy weeks. i will check in this weekend. BYE!!!

Hey guys! I am just too sore too workout today! Woo hoo! The Pyramids so far are the only workouts that give me DOMS! My hamstrings especially. I will rest today and do C&W/SS tomorrow. I will definitely keep the Pyramid workouts in my schedule for the next 3 weeks or so. I will start a new check in thread for us tomorrow! Have a great weekend!
