LAST EDITED ON Jun-01-02 AT 08:57AM (Est)[p]Hi. I'm usually good at creating my own rotations, but I think I'm in need of someone else's perspective. Could someone help put together a rotation for me?? Please?? My goal...loss of body fat (dont care what the scale says), upper body definition and lower body improvement. I'm a pear! I dont even like pears!! I'm an advanced exerciser, own dumbells from 3 to 15 lbs, have two barbells, a step (of course), 2 lb ankle weights, and a recumbent bike. I cant run due to knee issues. My video library includes.....all of Cathe's tapes, both Powerstrike Millenium's, Reebok's Intense Moves, KV's GWW, Mindy's Action Packed, Energy Action Circuit, Pump Party and Slammin Sports, Cory Everson's Get Hard Arms & Shoulders, Joyce Vedral's Fat Burning Vol 2 and Weight Training Made Easy, Tae Bo Get Ripped Advanced, FIRM Lower Body Sculpting, Aaron's Powerkicks, Kathy Smith's Power Step, Kickboxing and Aerobox, CIA's PowerBar Training and CIA's 2203 with Terrie Reeves. Geez, could I have left anything out, lol. I know it's a big favor, but I really need some help!! Oops, forgot to add, I have 60-70 minutes max for workouts. Thanks!

HI Stacy!! Did you ever have Kathy or Ruth send you the rotations recently? They both (I THINK) have a whole bunch of rotations compiled for various things, i.e. weight loss, arm definition, etc... There are two threads about the rotations. You can easily find them and maybe email one of them and ask for the rotations...??? That would give you a lot of different ideas!!

Hi, yes, I have all the volumes of the rotations Kathy put together and have looked them over, but so far nothing is getting me too excited...dont know what the deal is with me! But thanks for the info!

Stacy,
Oh Goodie, now I get to help you after you helped me when I was at a loss as to my next rotation at the end of April! How about this one:

* PS L&A
* PS CST & PS BBA
* Interval workout of your choice
* MIS
* Kickbox workout of your choice
* Circuit Max

I hope this helps you. I think this will give you lower body improvement to the max, plus the upper body definition you are seeking.

Good luck and let us know what you decide!

Hi Linda! Thanks for the suggestion! It's always easier at least in my opinion helping someone else with a rotation. I always tend to make mine too easy, lol.

Thanks again,

Stacy

P.S. How is your rotation going??

Hey Stacy,

I know what you mean about making your own rotations too easy! I do the same thing.

Anyway, my rotation that you helped me with is going well, but I think I am done with it. I lost about 2 pounds in the 5 weeks I've been doing it. I notice some improvement in my lower abs (probably due to the weight loss and planks). I found it somewhat time-consuming to fast forward and rewind on the CTX tapes (I don't have dvds) for the rotation, but that's not a huge deal. The other thing I learned about myself was that I prefer to only have to lift two or three days per week, instead of five. I always had a large assortment of weights out in the living room and it seemed like I needed them everyday. But, overall, I feel good about the rotation and feel strong.

I believe I'm going to move (starting tomorrow) to a S&H rotation:

M: Circuit Max
T: Interval Max
W: Power Hour
T: running or bicycling
F: S&H L&S
S: S&H C&B and B&T
S: rest

I am also trying to get a more sculpted look and improve my lower body while losing weight.

Sometimes when I feel slumpy like you, I take a week off and just do some fun stuff like walking my dogs for an hour in the woods for several days, or cleaning my entire house over the course of several days. Those things are more of a workout than you expect. By the time you finish cleaning or gardening, or whatever you did, you are thankful for those scheduled workouts again!

Good luck!
Linda
