Most Difficult Jari Love?

Cathlete
In your opinion, which of her DVD's are most challenging? I just recieved the 4-pack with Ripped, Ripped to the Core, Slim and Lean, and Ripped 1000. Suprisingly so far I'm not impressed. When I matched her exactly in weights, there was no challenge and no soreness after. I'm going to up the weight more and see if it makes a difference, but as of now, I don't see myself getting results from these workouts.
Any thoughts or experiences?
Thanks, Calee

I think the most challenging is Ripped & Chiseled, but I think all of them are challenging if you lift the right weight. With the exception of the original Ripped. It's still a good workout for lifting heavier. I lift heavy, and hit the back button to repeat all the exercises.

You really need to find the weight that is challenging for you. She tells you to raise the weight if you're not feeling it. If I had to guess, I think most video instructors lift lighter for filming. I would think they do several takes, and film more than one workout in a day.

I found Jari's advanced rotation extremely challenging and had great success leaning out for swimsuit season.;)

I think Ripped and chisled is harder. I would increase the weights, too. I normall y go 2-5 pound heavier than Jari. Also, if you workout a lot, you might not get sore even if you're getting a good workout.

I usually lift what the guy in the workout is lifting (except on the shoulder work in one of the DVD's--maybe Ripped to the Core? one with combo moves---that's a killer).

Maybe I'll have to order Ripped & Chiseled since it sounds like it's more challenging. Wouldn't you know, that's the only one I didn't get in the package! I like Kathryn's suggestion too, maybe I'll try to match the guy in the back in weight.
Thanks ladies :)

Callee,

There are times I do not finish all the reps because I chose a challenging weight. I think that's a good thing.:) I'm disappointed if I can do all the reps without struggle. I drop the weights when my form goes south. I keep a lighter set sitting next to me when I just can't do one more rep with the heavier weight, I drop it, and finish with the lighter.
