Mom's of Terrific Two Year olds

Melanie, You sound like you are eating so healthfully! I used lettuce leaves for a wrap last week. They are a nice crisp and fresh alternative.

You have got to read the book "EAT TO LIVE" that I mentioned. It is a great book! Not a "diet" but how to eat for the best quality of life. Actually, I started reading the author's (Joel Fuhrman, MD) newest book "DISEASE-PROOF YOUR CHILD: FEEDING KIDS RIGHT" first. All of you ladies should go to your local library or bookstore and pick that book up right now.

Maggie, I was wondering if you have a nickname for Evangeline, or a shortened name that you use? Just wondering, it is a very pretty name.

Briee, Never a dull moment at your place, huh. I pray also that your little Hannah is fine and has no more complications. How nice that DebbieH (she should be the honorary forum "mom") called your family. Oh, what are you teaching, do you mean fitness classes? Tell us about that... is this a new thing for you, or have you done it before? Sounds fun! If I come to your class will I develop a bicep vein?! :7

Briee--that sounds absolutely terrrifying. I pray that she grows out of this problem, but at least you can be prepared if it happens again by having the nebulizer. I'm so glad everything turned out well. Praise God.

Emy--We don't have a nick name yet. My 9 yo daughter calles her Vangie (like Angie with a V on the front) and my husband has talked about calling her Eve or Evie. Right now I call her Smudge and Miss Puss. We'll see what develops over time.

I'll check out the books you mentioned. I don't know how faithfully I can follow any eating style or plan, but I am determined to eat better that I have been, so any inspiration or ideas are welcome.

Maggie:)
