Moms...flu shot for your kids???

Hey, Sara! I know that I am really late in getting on board here, but I just wanted to let you know my opinion FWIW: I don't get my kids vaccinated for the flu because there are thousands of strands out there and the vaccine only has a few. That info could be wrong or could have changed since '03, but I thought it was pointless to get them vaccinated when they could just get another flu anyways. HTH, a little, but it looks like you have already gotten some really great links and info.

I do get my son a flu shot every year (assuming there are enough immunizations to go around). My entire family had the flu several years ago and getting the shot is much easier than actually having the flu.
