Wendy,

Me too! Less than a month of work left! Unfortunately, I will be returning. My plan is to take all of may off and then work parttime in June and July. My job is pretty flexible so I should be able to work from home on some days.

I don't know where the time has gone to! Has your pregnancy gone by fast also, Imani?

Congratulations KC! Great to have you here! I'm very impressed that you were able to become a certified aerobics instructor while you were pregnant! That's quite an accomplishment! Do you have any training in prenatal exercise?

Cheers!

Hey Imani...

Just got some info in the mail last night about our classes coming up in a couple of weeks. Have this whole work book to read before going...skimmed through it. Looks like A LOT of info...some is liable to scare me rather than relax me tho, I think! I'm really not worked up at all about L&D at this point and I'd hate for this class to backfire on me and make me nervous!!! I guess I just have to wait and see....

Wendy,

There were some things in class that scared me but I am the type of person who doesn't like things candy coated. I would rather hear the scary details now and have time to prepare myself for them than be surprised by all of it. Also, if you've been reading up on labor and delivery, I think most of the stuff won't scare you.

One thing that was nice about taking a class was meeting other woman who where due around the same time. It was fun to compare bellies and stories. I'm sure you won't regret taking the class.

I'm glad there's others on the forum that are due around my time. It seems like I found out so quickly (at about 4 weeks). I'm afraid I'm in for a LONG pregnancy. I'm still weaning baby Justin, so I've only had one period since I was pregnant LAST time. Oh, it's soooo wonderful to bf and not have those nasty periods!!!
Anyway, I'm on my running regimen right now for the Spring/Summer

Sun: 4 mi run
Mon: off
Tue: 4 mi run
Wed: 4 mi run
Thurs: 4 mi run
Fri: off
Sat: off

I'm actually 10 lbs lighter than my pre-pregnancy weight which is now my new pre-pregnancy weight. BONUS~!!! I think Cathe's hardcore cardio workouts have put a bust on my pleateus. I consistantly workout about 4-5 days/week. I"m a Cathe junkie with the exception of running in summer.

I work outside the home parttime 20hrs week one, 40 hrs week two & repeat. I"m a pharmacist at a small town pharmacy. No breaks at work, which make it hard on my "heavy" weeks. On Saturdays I work 10.5 hr days with no break. Urgh!!! I did it once, I can do it again.

Oops, forgot to mention, I'm 32 years old...so in the midline of ages here it seems.

Can't wait to get to know you ladies. Way back when I was one of the originators of this workout check-ins (believe it or not!!!) Now I'll have to post in Moms 2 Be & Moms check in. :)
