ETD: oh well, close enough. If anyone knows how to get rid of the text at the left there, let me know

Yeah! Can you believe that we are more than half way through with our pregnancies! Time flies!

Hi Jen!

I still haven't been told who my replacement will be. Having the new sub shadow you for a couple of days is an excellent idea, so that s/he gets an idea of the routine. The young students really need the stability of the same routine, and I hope your new sub takes that into consideration when s/he takes over.

Last night I finally had a decent night's sleep. I took a magnesium vitamin supplement as advised by a friend at suppertime, and it seemed to do the trick. However, I had the baby's feet pressing up into my ribs last night, and i had to get up and massage the area to try to adjust his position. I was actually able to tell he was on my right side, as my tummy was much firmer there. Pretty cool!

I'm relieved to know I'm not the only one taking it easy now. Just a few months to go!

Imani, I think you are going to like your glider rocker. I absolutely love mine. Can't imagine trying to rock my baby without one? They are so comfortable. Are you getting an ottoman as well? If you can get one I recommend it. It is really nice to put up your feet while you are trying to rock the baby back to sleep after feedings, especially when you will be so tired yourself.

I was going to ask if you are still monitoring your temps.

All in all I think this pregnancy is about the same as my last. I've noticed that this time around I have to get up in the middle of the night to pee, whereas I never did before. Still no morning sickness, but I do get a bit dizzy once in a while and have to watch it when I am exercising, but I had to do that with my 1st pg as well. On a bright note I did jog 2 miles last night without any blurry vision or body numbness. I'm going to try to take it easy and just do what I can which might just be jogging/walking on treadmill and my own made up weight workout. Tomorrow is my first dr appt. I'll let you all know how it goes.

Take care everyone!!

Great News to Report

Hello Ladies!

I just got back from my dr. appt. Everything looks great. My due date is still Sept. 17. The doctor even did an ultrasound to determine if the due date was accurate. So now I have a little picture of my little one. It makes this pregnancy feel more real. What can I say I'm a visual person? If I don't look pregnant or having morning sickness like a pregnant person is supposed to have then am I really pregnant? Stupid I know.

I can still exercise and do all that good stuff. Thank goodness. Actually at my next dr visit in March the dr wants me to take the glucose test to see if I might have gestational diabetes. If that turns out okay then I will still need to take one again at 28 weeks.

Well, I really need to try to work some. Yeah right I am too excited.

I hope everyone is having a great day!

RE: Great News to Report

That's great news Kristi! Glad everything is going well so far! So are you gonna put that sonogram pic up on your fridge? I have all 3 of mine up there as only a proud parent would do! :7 :7 :7

Have a great work out!
