Moment of Truth Sept 27

Hey charlotte,


I will start my rotation tomorrow. I have my brother coming over to eat and I'm cooking chicken as we speak. I want to try it for a few weeks and really challenge my body. I haven't forgotten,cause it is a awesome rotation. Maybe since my spirits are higher I will succeed at it.

Kim - wonderful news, I'm glad that boot is off. Now you can finally see light at the end of the tunnel.

Thanks Becky for the recipe... You can tell my brain is fried... seasonable??? I meant sensible...LOL....

GS Legs is finished. I did have gains since I did it last. I could do all those slow lunges with the 5# DBs. Last time I had to drop my weights halfway through.

I also did the bonus lunges but had to drop the 8# weights for those. Not bad considering that is one nasty workout!!!

We shall see about ME tomorrow. I'll have to see what kind of shape my legs are tomorrow!


Terri -the baked apple recipe is -

1 cup baked apples, cubed, and frozen overnight... I bake my with cinnamon and splenda at about 375 or so for about 30 minutes.

1 cup skim milk
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
extra cinnamon to taste
two cube of ice

the pumpkin pie one is -

1 cup pureed pumpkin - frozen overnight
1 cup skim milk
1 scoop protein powder
cinnamon to taste
a couple of cubes of ice if the flavor is too strong
 
Boo Hoo poor lori is getting Sh*t on again:) Not that I care.I knew my rotation was gonna cause a disturbance:) Oh, but what would this place be without a little excitement?
If I am not hanging my dogs out over the side of a truck, then I am trying to kill myself.

Good for you on the leg workout. That IS a toughie!! Especially some of the floorwork (with ball) for me!

I appreciate your answer about the rotation . I think I'll do the same as you....I'll follow it as Cathe made it, muscles permitting! I won't be surprised if I have some serious doms tomorrow though, and if I do, I'll figure it out then.

That is my plan Becky... we'll just see how our legs are tomorrow. If I have some serious DOMS, I will definitely have no problem switching the work out day.
 
Just looked through the threads to see if I missed anything...

Terri - DD is doing very well, no residual effects from the migraine. She did, however, fall down a flight of stairs at her apartment complex yesterday morning going to work. She lives on the third floor, so has two flights of stairs up to her apartment. I told her when she moved in not to go rushing down those stairs in a pair of heels with her hands full (take it from mama who has fell down a couple of flights of stairs herself!!). Well, she called me and said, I did what you told me not to do!!! She is okay, just bruised up her legs and bloodied a couple of toes.

Becky - I looked at the June 05 rotation. My only problem with it is that I don't have Slow&Heavy OR CTX. I have the GS's and could sub something for Power Hour the last week but I am missing a crucial part of the w/o in weeks two and three.

The Aug 04 rotation Kali recommended, I have more of the w/o's but still have to sub a few which isn't a problem. It also has a lot of running in it which I am going to HAVE to do at least the first two weeks starting in October since I have a 5K on October 15th. I was already thinking I was going to have to sub any cardio with runs anyway.

Becky... look at the Aug 04 rotation and see what you think. We'll still wait and see what Cathe comes up with. There seems to be a little more upper body in this one since my upper body probably thinks I've forgotten about it.

We'll keep bouncing things back and forth.
 
HI Gals,

Just wasting a bit of time before the Biggest Loser comes on.Boy,I am hungry tonight.I just ate the other 1/2 of my dinner but I know it is not going to last long.Must have been all the leg work I did today.My body is crying for food....why doesn't it just eat the fat?
Yep, my charlotte post caused quit a bit of attention.Oh well, no one is gonna stop me from doing the rotation I posted.I am looking forward to seeing what results I get with this.I am also going to follow the BFL diet.I went to order some protein powder but I am not sure what to buy.All of them seems low in carbs.And I wonder how easy they are to mix.I don't want anything sitting in the bottom of my glass.But they all claim the same...of course they would!x(
I still have some at home so while I am deciding I will drink that.

My legs aren't to sore from today (yet) they feel like j-ello but not sore.
Anyway, I must go get ready to watch my show.

All of you ladies must be turning in to bed. I need to go pretty soon. It is harder and harder to get up in the morning the cooler it gets at night.
