Good Morning Girls,

I am so sleepy.I got a bit of sleep here last but when I woke up I checked in here for a bit and then I ended up watching Dateline or 20/20 not sure which.But it was called "Honeymoons from Hell" It was murder mysteries.I thought both people were killed in the last episode but I fell asleep.Either way,when I went back to sleep I had a dream that I was on a crew ship.I was being murdered BUT I knew the place wasn't safe.Weird!

I guess I will stay up now until I go home.I am not sure what todays workout is.I guess I am gonna have to look back through Charlottes rotation even though I wrote it all in the book.If there isn't much cardio I think I will add a little more.Oh....I know what today is Kickboxingx( And you know how I LOVVVVVVVVVVVVVVE kickboxing;(

I will check back later.I hope everyone as a good day.

Hi Lori. That show would've given me bad dreams too. I swear true crime stories scare me to death more so than horror movies. I think because I know they really happened, or could happen?
Have fun w/ your kickboxing today. Sounds like you're getting on track with your plan. That's great. Stick to it and you'll reach your goal in no time! ;) ;-)

It was so muggy over night here. I was exhausted tho so I slept good. I was drained from this "emotional" week.
So this morning I woke up, thanked God for another safe restful night and a brand new day. And here I am. It rained over night which we need here badly. You should see our back yard. It's brown. The only good thing is DH doesn't have to cut the grass because there is none.

Jane, how was Rascal Flats and dinner? What did you eat? Bet you had a great time! Are you doing ME today?

Hi Wendy! I miss you! Bet you're a busy bee getting ready. Well make sure you check in and report your progress. :)

Nancy~ how are you feeling today? How many Kit Kat bites did you end up eating? I like your idea about eating for Charlotte! :7 That was a good one! If only right? Is the wedding next weekend?

I'm going to do ME now and get it over with and then go to a meeting. I have to speak tomorrow night and am a little nervous. I'll get to a meeting today and tomorrow morning and a few of my friends in the program are coming over for cake tonight so I'll feel pretty connected to it all and I should be okay. I think I'm going to type some of my story and look it over today and tomorrow because when you get up there, you tend to forget key things you might want to say that could help someone. I hate it when that happens. I just have to remember it's not about me. It's about maybe helping another alcoholic that may relate to my experience, strength and hope. If I remember that, it'll be a breeze. ;)

Good morning Lori and Kali.....

I had so much fun last night. Rascal Flatts puts on one great show!! Danced a solid two hours!!

Kali - I did well at Carrabba's. I think the fact that I know I am on day #20 helped me stay strong. I stuck with the choices I had plugged in fitday and stuck to it. DD and I split an entree because I can't eat a whole entree anyway. The portions there are pretty large.

Today is the Apple Festival so lots of walking. I don't know if I'll have time to do ME this morning as I am suppose to meet DD and DIL at 10:30 and I haven't gotten breakfast yet and it's almost 8. I'll definitely get it in this afternoon.

DH wants to go out to eat tonight but we are going to Longhorn and that is our 'home away from home' so I can be good there. I have the menu down pat and have no problems staying within reason there. Salmon sounds good for tonight and a sweet potato with a salad.

Kim - I thought about you when I was on my way to the concert last night when I drove by Lowe's Motor Speedway. Verizon Wireless Ampitheater is just minutes from the speedway.

Kali - one day at a time. We'll talk soon. Remember you have friends;)

I hope everyone had a good nights sleep!

Jane, it sounds like this is a great weekend for you, filled with fun things to do. It sounds like you had a good time last night at the concert.:D

We are leaving at 10:00 for the Oktoberfest festival, and I haven't had breakfast yet either! I finally had a great nights sleep and didn't even get up until about 1/2 hour ago! I think I'll eat some yogurt for my breakfast, so I don't go on an empty stomach. There really is NO healthy food at this kind of festival , that is heavy on the sausages, bratts, metts, potatoes (mostly fried)LIMBURGER CHEESE *gross* and BEER! But I can probably find a soft pretzel to share and then eat when we come home. I still like going, just to walk around and see everyone & everything!

Later today I'll do MM and some cardio. Haven't decided what yet, I guess it will depend on how much walking I do!:)

Lori, what kind of work to do you do?

Good morning ladies,

Slept pretty good last night,guess I was so tired and worn out yesterday. Feel good this morning all except for these stupid sinuses! My throat and face hurts like the dickin's!x( But today I will get in S&H tri's/bi's,shoulders, 500 crunches and some plank work. Please pray for me.:p If I don't post on here for a couple of days, know I'm dead!:p


Lori- I love kickboxing! which will you do? Kpc or KM? I love them both!:)

Kali- ME is a tough one! And you will be okay at the meeting, you are a great person!:) So try not to be nervous. Easier said than done huh? Hope everything goes well.

Jane my dh is fixing to go to the Oct. race in Charlotte. I am so sad that I can't go.:-( My dd doesn't like racing so I have to stay behind with her. But I am definitely going to the May race next year.

Hi chickee-doodles! :p

I've been up for a while but DH's family slept here last night after the wedding so I had to wait for them to leave before I could hop on the computer.

I have my potatoes cookin' for the potato salad I'm makin for the Christening and then I have to start rollin' the cold cuts....

No work out yesterday...my day went NOTHING like I had planned...I got NOTHING done! x( Hopefully I can squeeze in some cardio today but I'm not so sure that will happen...I also think I might be getting sick as my throat is a little sore and I keep sneezing. :-(

Well, I'll be back in a bit.
 
Hi Everyone

Last night we went to the big park in St. Louis for the first night of the Great Ballonn Race. Last night was the Balloon Glow they had all the hot air balloons set up and let little kids get in and they would blow they propane. It was a lot of fun to people watch and lots of walking!

Today is Imax1, errands, homework then the Coldplay concert. I'm looking forward to that.

Kali, good luck with your talk. You inspire us all on this forum so I know you are going to do a good job. A list of main points always help me keep my train of thought when giving speeches or talks in front of large groups of people.

Hello all,

Today i will be doing Rythmic step and gymstyle legs. Gymstyle legs is such a good leg burner! I look at all the plans you ladies have and I am jealous :) As of now I have nothing planned and will play it by ear. I am not one to sit around the house though so I am sure I wll get out and do something. I stayed up late again last night reading The Kite Runner. It is so good.

Hi Girls,

I am hoping I am back on course but no promises:) We did decide to weigh today b/c today is our actual weigh in day and I was dwon 1/2 of a lbs.So I did lose all the water weight and a extra 1/2 lbs:) Thats good news and probably enough to keep me motivated.

I am not sure if I am gonna do kickboxing...I DIN"T LIKE ITx( I wish I did but I don't and the best ones I have are the powerstrike ones and the music drives me crazy!I only do kickboxing about 3 x a year.Maybe I should start doing it more often and I would enjoy it more.But for the first 20 min of the workout I am thinking...I should turn this off...but after a while I start thinking..."its just as well to keep going, its almost over":eek:

Kali-I have a habit of watching A&E when I am working nights shifts and they are always about murder mysteries.Or cold case files.I always fall asleep when it is on and then I dream about something and then I am to scared to go to the bathroom:) How childish is that?

Becky-I work at the airport.It is a feuling stop for private planes from Europe to the US.(normally) A few famous people but mostly just people who think they are;) It is shift work and if I am not busy I usually sleep off and on for a couple of hours.

Wendy- I hope you fit something in.

Where DID charlotte go? Sounds like everyone is gonna have a awesome day with all the festivites.Wish I had something to go to!

Lori, being scared after a movie or dream isn't childish. Girl I am scared every night when I have to go to the bathroom. I have to go down stairs and it doesn't bother me, but somthing about going back to my bedroom scares me. I am constantly looking behind me, but the worst part is walking up the stairs. I start running up them because I feel like someone is behind me. Now this is every night! The bad thing right now is that I can't run up the steps!


It's weird how I am fine going down, but as soon as I hit the stairs to go up I get the funny feeling someone is behind me. Now I am weird!:p I wonder why it is like that?


And no, I am not a nut case!}(


got to get back to my routine, I have already done my 500 crunches, and planks. My stomach muscles were shaking bad! It sucks having to fit cleaning in all this.

I just ate 2 pieces of chocolate! ACK! x(

I'm sick and I'm exhausted so I let myself go astray for the 30 seconds it took me to shove the chocolates into my mouth! }(

It sure was YUMMY though! First sweets (besides sugar in my coffee) that I have had in a month!!! That's a record for me! ;-)

I tried 2x already today to take a nap and I can't...must be uptight about what I have to do today in order to prepare for tmrw. Plus the fact that my house is a freakin' disaster area so I need to clean it up but I just don't feel like it...I feel so crappy.:(

Don't mind me...just felt like complaining a bit!:p
 
Aww Wendy that sucks that you are getting sick on this weekend ESPECIALLY! If I lived near you I would come over and help you get everything done. Hang in there !

I have finished my weight workout and now I am going to go out for awhile. I will do cardio later.

Don't beat yourself up over a couple pieces of chocolate!!! This is a very stressful weekend for you! And if it was dark chocolate-you got a health benefit from it anyway.;-)

The Festival was great! I ate pretty healthy too and walked a lot!
I got a bowl of greens and split with with dh and my dad. Then the 3 of us split a cob of bicolored sweet corn...no butter, nothing on it.
Lastly , and my splurge, I bought a big pretzel and shared it with DH! So, no horrible overeating here!
And I'm glad I was careful because next Saturday is the apple festival !!:9 We do love the festivals and make the rounds every fall !

I'm going to do MM now, but am wondering if it's really what I should do today. I feel more like doing step and like I should do cardio. Yesterdays PLB really got me with the deadlifts and all those squats and lunges! I am SORE! Any thoughts on why PLB and MM are back to back on the Sept. rotation??
Anyway, it says it, so I'm gonna give it my best. Maybe I'll feel up to some cardio afterwards, but then again, maybe not!:p

I did it! I did KPC and I actually enjoyed it:) I also felt really bad for our bigger dog b/c DH went out and didn't take him.He had my neices and nephew and the other dog and he didn't have room for the 135 lbs brut so I I took him for a 30 min walk, just so he could get out.Boy..I bet he is so mad at DH.
I thought I would write this note b/c I am waiting for laundry to be done then I am going back in to do L&G:)

Apple Festivals, Oktoberfest, weddings and hot air balloons? Sounds like everyone is having a great time! Oh gosh, I love hot air balloons.

I'm feeling kinda lousy today. Too much wine and, ouch, Kit Kat bites (??!!). I haven't eaten anything like that in ages. My DH bought them, and I ate them. It was a rough week and I was celebrating it being over.

Actually, I didn't have more wine than usual, it's just that there was no bread and my stomach was pretty empty. That always gets me into trouble. Now I'm paying for it. I was supposed to go into the office today but I don't feel up to it. It's almost 3 pm and I haven't done a thing. :(

Just checking in here. Gosh, been a busy day so far. Finished the "bi" part of Tri's and Bi's. Got to dye my hair dark brown, take DD to friends house and then come back to do Tri's. Like to break up my workouts sometimes. Will do Core Max 1 and 2 tonight and have some chinese food with brown rice instead of white. YUM!
So what is on your agenda?

Awwww Nancy. Don't feel bad. We all have days like that. Hey yesterday is over. I know you feel crappy today but tomorrow will be better. Hang in there Girlfriend. :)

Well I'm just about ready for Matt's party. He's gone w/ my DM&D and Daniel is at a swimming party. So I just have to vacuum and wipe up the bathroom and I'm done. The cake looks great. I hate to cut it, it looks so cool.

I did ME this morning before I ate. What a mistake. I was fine when I was done, but then I ran to the meeting and I thought I was going to crash. There were donuts there and I swear I was so hungry I could've had 1/2 a dozen. But I didn't have a crumb. I'm not cheating tonight either. I'll have pizza, but no cake. I'm working too hard to reach my goal to induldge in a lousy piece of cake. If tomorrow wasn't my weigh in day I would. If tomorrow is a loss maybe I'll have a piece if there's any left. I didn't get a huge cake so I will try my best to get it the hec out of here.

Glad you did well at the festival Becky. Good job. :)

That is a shame for your poor puppy Lori! x( Poor baby. What kind of dog is he? Good workouts there today.

Wendy hope you're napping. You sound like a nervous wreck. Just do one thing at a time and relax a little. By Monday morning you'll be back to normal and can get back into your w/o's and clean eating. We will make sure of it! :eek:
