Moment of Truth Sept 12/05

Good Morning All,

Set my alarm for 5:22...just in case I wanted to get up.x( I reset it and crawled back into bed but I just lay there for a while so I though...WTH...just as well to get up!:) I didn't go to bed until late though and I know I am going to be paying for this sometime today:-(

I put my workout off until yesterday evening, thinking that in the end I was never gonna do it.Yesterday was start cardio.I got on the treadmill and thought...if I can make it to 8 miles that would be awesome.I ended up pushing myself to 10 miles.It was 1 hour and 40 min of running.I obviously had the runners high.
SO this is why I didn't care if I waited until tonight to workout b/c its only been 7 hours since I ran.
I guess I will do BC now.I don't know what else to do.I certainly can't go running:eek: Oh, dropped my hand helf Yatzee game last night and broke it;( Im not going out and spending another $20 so I am going to hve to keep my eyes peeled for Tetris again.

Good morning Lori! Have a great time w/ BC! I hate doing it, but I looveee how I feel afterwards!! That endorphin high keeps me going all day!!
I was telling Wendy and the other girls a few weeks back, I have guitar lessons on Thursdays. And one day I did BC that morning and I was "flying high on endorphins!" Well I couldn't sit still and play my guitar so my teacher (who is practically my BIL) told me no more BC on Thursdays! I get to my lesson every week and that's the first thing he asks me. He knows all about you guys and Cathe so it's all in fun.
It's a pretty cool feeling when people that know you, know you're in a good mood and feeling good because you take care of yourself and work out.

Anyhow. I don't have KickMax so I'm going to do LowMax and a run/walk. I know it's not as tough as KickMax, but w/ the way my body is feeling, (SORE) I'll feel it. NO abs today tho.I am dying here with DOMS Kim!
If someone ran up to me and grabbed my sides from behind, I would probably scream! ;(

Good morning Lori and Kali and all that follow...

Yesterday was my rest day and I took it. I did wash my car which took me 1 hour 25 minutes and was a pretty good upper body w/o.

Today is KickMax. Kali, you'll get just as good a w/o with LowMax IMO. Any of these interval workouts really kick your rear!

I weighed and measured this morning. I am down 2 1/2 pounds so pretty much back to normal before my TTOM bingeing on 8/25 and 26.

Bust - same
Waist - lost 1/2 inch
Hips - lost 1/2 inch
Right thigh - lost 1/4 inch
Left thigh - lost 1/4 inch

I need to measure my biceps, I forgot to do that, will post later.
 
Mornin' Ladies.

Today it's full body weights, cardio and abs for me~~~what I missed yesterday!!!

DH and I ended up getting into an argument last night which is actually good...I was ticked at him anyway so I needed to get it out of my system. We are okay now though...we don't go to bed mad. :) I also am in fine spirits this morning so all is okay, Kali. Thanks for your concern. You are a sweetie!:*

I gotta go get my java. I'll be right back!:)

This morning I have started the daunting and quite tedious task of putting the Christening favors together...cutting out the pics of Joey that my SIL printed out and putting them in the magnetic frames...I'll be doing this all week b/c I know I won't be able to sit there and do them all in one day...I'd go insane!}(LOL
 
That does sound tedious Wendy... I'd spread it out too. I am not too bummed about it being Monday. I had a good weekend and I am working all week but have took off a half day Friday, I'll get off at 10:30 a.m.

Friday night is the Rascal Flatts concert and DD and I are going. I can't wait. Our annual Apple Festival in Lincolnton, NC is this Saturday also, and I am looking forward to it. I live in the middle of apple country. I actually went up to one of our local orchards yesterday and got a huge bag of Gala apples.

That concert sounds like it'll be lots of fun, Jane. Country music fan here! :)

I will be working on Christening planning, purchasing and cooking all week :)...can't wait for the wedding friday night...a chance to unwind before the "BIG DAY"...what fun! :7
 
Hi ladies! I'm so glad my cardio is over. I only do 2 days per week. Now the rest of the week will be devoted to the Pyramids. Tonight I need to do the second half of PLB. If my hamstrings are too sore, I may have to skip the hamstring work, but I'm really hoping not to have much DOMS today because I went so light yesterday.

Yesterday I ate:

Breakfast: bowl of old-fashioned oatmeal made with 1 cup skim milk
Lunch: low-fat cottage cheese and cantaloupe
Dinner: salad made of spinach, cabbage, radicchio, mushrooms, carrots, onions and another small can of salmon (it tasted so great Saturday, I had it again on Sunday)
Snack: 2 mini-bags popcorn (200 calories total)
A South African orange (Yum!)
A handful of TLC crackers

It's going to be a busy Monday, but I'm really looking forward to working out tonight when i get home! I'm sure I'll eat a lot more today. I tend to eat light on weekends because I'm so physically active, while on weekdays I'm very sedentary and hungry all the time.

Have fun with BC. I did it twice on Saturday. My dad jumped in and did some circuits with me as well. Mom was laughing at him. I will be doing PUB today. One of my favorite workouts!

Sounds like you are going to have a fun day with workouts and your christening stuff. I got windows to clean sometime this week and then I have to go over any imperfections from DH's painting in the livingroom. So far, there is not much, but there is paint outside on some of the bricks splattered here and there that I have to remove.
I also have tons of laundry to do and errands.

Don't you just love kickin' workouts? It really leans out the legs real nicely. And it looks like your making wonderful progress too with your measurements you've posted. Good job!
I love going to the orchards too. I usually make my own applesauce.

I missed some 2 meals yesterday as I just got back from Maryland and trying to unwind from the trip kept me busy that I ran out of time to eat. Didn't lose any weight so I am happy about that.
You do about as much cardio as I do. I am thinking of doing a fat loss rotation once I get to my goal size so I can look ripped!

Wendy, have fun with those favors. At least you have the whole week to do it.

Yesterday I did SB. The mats worked great for my knees but they kept sliding around on my carpet. Amy G suggested getting those mats you place on carpet to keep rugs in place so I am going to buy one of those and hope that solves the problem. Today is L&G and a run. I decided I am going to attempt Aug 04 rotation again. Since I didn't really work out that much in August I figured that would be a good rotation to get me back in shape so I can do Aug 05 next month!

Yesterday I used Fitday to keep track of my calories to see if I was eating what I should be or if I needed to cut back. Well, I think I have been eating too little b/c I had 200 calories to spare and when SO came home off work he made a frozen pizza and I had 2 slices. That definitely put me over! I'll try again today.

Kali, have fun with LowMax. I can't wait to buy that one. My bday is coming up in October so maybe then.

Charlotte, you can't afford to miss any meals, let alone 2 in the same day. You should have made up for it with snacks in the evening, no?

I actually finished ALL of the favors in just a couple of hours! YEAY!!!! :) :) :)

Hello There Ladies!

Jane~ congrats on the loss. That is great. I think this rotation is going to work for us. My problem areas are my butt and gutt as you can see in my pics so I really feel like I'm working towards slimming them down.
I did LowMax. It was a great w/o.Kicked my butt with those blasts. After seg. 2 I was wishing for it to end already.

I HATE working my legs. But I guess all my pain and suffering is paying off because I can fit back into my Pre-pregnancy jean shorts!!:7:7 I have not worn these shorts since the summer of 1997!!!! I am so glad I kept them. What an awesome feeling! :)

Wendy~ boy you're fast with those favors. Well at least that's one thing out of your hair. Good job. Make sure you post pictures of everything. I want to see it all and that cutie in his Christening outfit. Daniel will be receiving Holy Communion in the spring. I feel like we just had him baptized!! Have fun w/ your w/o.

Hi Charlotte! I did LowMax earlier and now I'm off for a walk/run! That is it for today tho. My mid section HURTS BAD!!! I can't cough, sneeze, nothing without wincing. But hey that's a good thing!}(

Hi Jess~ good luck w/ the Aug. rotation if that's what you decide. Fitday is a BIG help w/ tracking what we eat. October what is your bd if you don't mind me asking?

Nancy~ Good luck w/ PLB. Hopefully going lighter will help. Dead lifts get me everytime, no matter how light I go.

Well I'm off for my walk/run then CleanMax big time. Since I'm jobless I have got to get this house cleaned. x(

Charlotte- When you say abhits do you mean the whole thing?

Nancy-Is cardio two times a week enough for you? I wish it were for me. I get antsy any day that I don't do cardio.

Ok I did see The Exoorcism OF Emily Rose Last Night. It was scary but not as scary as the Exorcism movie from years ago with Linda Blair. I was even able to stay at home by myself afterwards.

Thanks for the info Terri. I was petrified of the original so hopefully this one won't be as bad like it was for you. I get so creeped out tho with that kind of stuff.
I love cardio too. I do it at least 5 days a week. I just got back from my walk. No running today. Didn't feel up to it after LowMax this morning. So I am done for today. Now I'm off to clean clean clean.

LOL Ok Charlotte I was afraid you would say that! I can do it though. The doms from all of core max are over.

Kali-I think you can handle the movie and it does court room stuff so you get a break from the weird evil stuff :)

Well I got to go eat some steak and a sweet potatoe and get ready to workout while I am snacking on some cottage cheese inbetween the workouts. It is hard trying to get so many calories in in one day!!!! LOL!
