Moment of Truth Sept 12/05

Hi Ladies!

Hope you all are having a good day!

I did push pull, ctx power circuit cardio + abs today. Eating a snack right now then off to shower, feed Joey, take him for a walk and give him a bath. In between there somewhere I will start laundry! LOL

Okay so I fed Joey and bathed him and started laundry and started straightening up the house and ate lunch but no walk and no shower yet...x(

May have to dispense with the walk if it gets too late...instead we'll go outside for a bit and play ball with Cldye...he's so lazy that he gets tired FAST so we are only out there maybe 15 minutes instead of taking a half hour walk plus the time it takes to get Joey in his stroller, etc.

I'm off again like a shot but I shall return!:)
 
Hi Girls!

I have been at work all day and the computer as been downx( We had a thunder and ligthening storm on Fri night and something weird happened.Anyway, after all day I can chat! And my boss is gone now as well:7

I did 6 seg of BC today.I love this workout and its hard but it is diffently not as hard as some workout that are out there.
I am not sure if I am gonna do any working out tonight b/c I really don't want to bother my knees.

By the way, how many kms are in a mile? I usually (outside) run 10- 14kms.But last night it was 10 miles so I am wondering how many kms that is.Prehaps I will post it.
I hope everyone is having a good day.I am hitting the afternoon slump!

Hello to everyone else!

I just got done paying some bills...that's always depressing! Every time I pay a few bills I get a knot in my belly...not used to workin' with only one income and I get scared every time that we will fall short...I'm VERY paranoid about these things! I could seriously give myself an ulcer cause I get so upset over it!x(

Anywho...Still doin' laundry here...still haven't showered x( ...the day just isn't goin' as planned! Oh well, I guess I'll live! :p

Maybe I will go shower now...wish me luck that I actually make it in! :)

hello again Ladies

So far I have done abhits (yes all of it chralotte) and MIC. I always forget how that workout creeps up on you and kicks your butt! I have to go meet a clients now so will do pub later.

Charlotte-Darn I should have took my camera last night when I went out with my friends! Ok i will make a note to do that when we meet upp mid week. My dog does not know how to take pictures :) Since I live alone frieends are the only choice I have.

I take my own pictures with a set timer on mine. I am so vain, huh? LOL! Speaking of which.....my bicep muscle has increased 1/4"!!!!! Holy Cow!!! So it is now 11 1/4". I am so happy. Getting closer to my goal! YAHOO!!!

I took my biceps measurement just now, I forgot to this morning. It is 11 1/4 inches also Charlotte. This hasn't changed from 8/22. I measure it flexed. Looking at my biceps in the mirror, they don't look as big as yours Charlotte. Maybe I'll get around to taking some pictures and posting to a Picture Trail account. I sure there is a timer on my digital camera and I have a tripod. I'll try it. On to KickMax!!! Talk to y'all later.
 
I have yet to work up the nerve to post any "work out pics" or "muscle pics"! Some day I will do it...though you all may not be around to see it! LOL :p
 
hey girls,

I am late posting today because dh had the day off and he was still asleep when I was going to post this morning. He laid around all day watching tv, while I was working. Boohoo! But I have the sweet aroma of roast,potatoes and carrots. He is so sweet!

I have been sweet free all day except for some lowfat choc. milk. It is high in sugar though, but I figure that one little carton of milk won't hurt anything. but no junk!! But here is the crasher, we have fat friday at work ever so often and they told me that it was my turn to bring a sweet. Now I have to battle that! But I am determined not to eat any of that. It is coming at the wrong time, but I would rather eat junk this weekend for my B-day than mess it up on friday too! My family will probably take me out on Sunday evening. Don't know all the details yet. Boy I am babbling on today!



Kali-girl my abs feel like I was punched in the stomach! My sides and my ribs I think are broke! lol! I'm with you with no abs today! I have schedule to do SH back. also my chest is sore from yesterday big time!


I need to read every one's post now. Ya'll have been busy!

Tell me about it Kim! I think my whole mid section is broke!! I am wincing here with every move I make! And Coremax 3 is on the rotation tomorrow!! I can't even imagine what I'm going to feel like on Wednesday. x(

And good job w/ just having chocolate milk! It's only Monday. Don't worry about Friday yet. When is your birthday? Why don't you make something w/ Splenda or something low fat for Fat Friday??

I think everyone should post new pics! Why don't we make it a monthly thing? What do you guys think? Anyone up for it?

Kali, I told my friend I work that if she took my dessert in the room then I wouldn't see all of the other desserts. See there are people they pick at certain times to do this. So that freakin table will be loaded with crap! I think splurging on my B-day is far better! And my B-day is Sept 19. I will be sixteen years old! I know, go ahead and laugh!! lol!


I am determined to make it at least to Sunday!


Jane, Congratulations girl! I think I read you lost 21/2 pds. You go girl!

I'm jealous! I want my abs to hurt too! LOL! I am going to do some more crunching tonight. I won't set a number. I will just keep going and see where I end up. LOL!
BTW, I am 37 too and knocking on 38's door soon here. The older I get, the younger and stronger I feel.

HI EVERYONE!

Charlotte my dog is a miniture collie(sheltie) she looks just like lassie but smaller. She is 15 this month! I have had her dince she was a puppy. I of course bought her for my son but have kept her after he moved out. Some days I call him and say"come get your dog"!. She stayed with my son while I was in San Diego and they do love each other. But at 24 his life is so busy she is better with me. Since she takes meds etc.

WAY TO GO on those biceps! Charlotte I bet you will be to your goal very soon.

Jane-You like kickmax? I like it but doesn't feel I get my cardio up as high doping it.
Kim-I hope you enjoyed your dinner. Don't stress on friday till friday comes. You CAN resist
Wendy-I bet it is hard adjusting to one paycheck!
Kali-Just think with the job not working out you have more time to workout :)


I need to do PUB now since I was out this agternoon dealing with clients. I want to do it as I have a relax plan for tonight. I want to agter dinner and cleanup sit down with The Kite Runner and some green tea. Whether I can actually sit still that long we will see. I wil be back to check in throuh the evening

Charlotte, you are superwoman! I hope my abs don't hurt like this for a long time! Tomorrow I will pick something that won't totally kill them especially since they are already sore. Fixing to do back, and I hate doing them with a passion! Chest, shoulders,triceps are my favorite to do.


We are strong 37 year old women!!

Terri, your dog sounds so cute! I bet he is as sweet as he can be. I know my dog is so smart, he can tell everything you are saying! It's amazing how smart they can become.


Pub is a good workout! After I finish my rotation I maybe will do a rotation using pub. I have always liked doing weights using the pyramid. and I get major soreness!

I hate doing back too, but love working lats cuz I know that is what will cause me to bust out of my tops! LOL!

Well I got some cleaning up to do. Put away the weights, if I can lift them now. I am so wiped out!
