Hi Girls,

Where is everyone today? I have been up for a while but just making it to the computer.Dh and I got a coffee and drove around town for a bit, then I reminded him that the gas prices where crazy and we shouldn't be wasting gas...so he brought me home and he is gone to a meeting.For a guy who doesn't work, he sure as a lot of meetings to go to.:eek:
I think I am going to ease off on the weights a bit.I feel like I am getting to bulky.I think I am going to stick with just 1 workout at a time, meaning, just one workout of biceps instead of S&H and GS.When I look in the mirror I am not liking what I see.Maybe if I shed 10 lbs and then the muscle would be shining through.But right now it feels like I am building muscle and everything is just getting bigger instead of leaning out;( I wonder waht results would I get from more circuit workouts?
The scale was down today:) 1.5 lbs.I thought about it yesterday, I could have been retaingin water b/c the dinner I ate the day before was fairly salty and I remember drinking alot of water before I went to bed and not peeing it out!
Today I am going to run and do legs, I think.That providing that I workout with my running partner.If she isn't going, then I am not sure what I am going to do.I haven't thought that far ahead yet today.
Now...wakey...wakey!

Hey, you! I just hopped on to say I will be on later, I have a busy morning. I did NOT sleep well last night. I am so sleepy!

Can I add as many pix as I want to my trail without having to pay? and how do I add my signature as well as the link? There are too many characters but I see tons of people have longer sigs....Thanx! :)

I slept in again today! :p

I think you could see some nice results if you add circuits into your routine. I think they will help you with leaning out and not bulking up. Also why not concentrate on endurance based weight work outs and stay away from w/o's used for strength gains/muscle mass~ that might help as well.

I didn't w/o yesterday so I plan on doing cardio kicks today. Today was supposed to be a rest day for me on this rotation so I won't be missing anything.

I got on the scale today after tuesday's weigh in and it's showing me that I've dropped just about another 2 pounds beyond what I weighed on tuesday. I'm taking that with a grain of salt...for it to happen over 48 hours seems like an impossibility!

My eating has been pretty awful lately. I need to really get back on track. My zig zagging has been non-existant for the past week so today I will do my best to eat big (healthy) cals so that I can get myself back on track again before it comes back to bite me in the a$$!:eek:

Off to get the 2nd half of my breakfast AND my java!:9

Mine isn't done right. My sig should look like yours but it doesn't! Dh did it, and I am not sure how.I am not that great with the computer.
Sorry to here you had a awful nights sleep.I had a good sleep but the alarm always seem to go off way to early.The only thing about being off all week is that I still have to get up around 7:30 to get DD to school.If I was off this weekend, like I was suppose to be I could have slept in:-( Oh well, my own fault. I am not sure how those girls I work with get so many holidays.She was off for 8 weeks last spring b/c she had surgery (over exaggerated, like everything else in her life) and the she comes back and starts taking holidays.And its not 2 weeks straight...2 days here...3 days there...talk about dragging them out!
I just got another coffee.Felt like I needed another.The mail man was here with some flyers and the Canadian Tire flyer looks pretty good this week, I should be able to get a few christmas gifts.YAH!!!!

I think we posted at the same time:) By endurance based workouts, you mean ME,MM,and PH? Ive never used S&H before and now I know why! And she doesn't go super hevay either.Maybe I could do 1 leg workout a week...3 cirucit workouts.....and 2 cardio days? Or switch the cardio and circuit? Maybe I will post this question.I love circuits b/c the time flys but I am never sore the next day.I think it will help keep me toned, but not bulk up.I don't need to look muscular.Sure it would be great to look like Cathe but I don't think I have the time or the knowledge to look like that.Plus, lookng back at some of her older workouts, she wasn't as cut as what she is now, so why would I think I am going to look like that over night!?:)
My eating as been pretty good and the scale really isn't moving.Sure it moved today but I am like you.I could get up tomorrow morning and weigh even more. I would really, really, like to chuck out about $60 and get a new scale.This one is digital and I think its full of you know what!

Good morning girls!

I could not sleep worth a darn last night. I was too wound up I guess. DH didn't get home from work until 12:45 AM. He works way too hard. I keep trying to get him to cut back because I'm worried he's going to keel over one day from exhaustion.

Right now I'm enjoying my very strong black coffee.:9 I'm doing some cardio today--Leslie Sansone. I have trouble with Cathe cardio. I can do her beginner step w/o's on a good day but that would not be today.:-(

Lori, I wouldn't worry about it. I don't like to weigh myself more than once a week. I've had variances of 2 to 3 pounds in a day before. But I like Wendy's idea of trying circuits.

Way to go Wendy!! I know what you mean about the bad eating. I really have to get it into gear here. It seems like I have a couple of good days followed by 3 or 4 bad days. I think I'm going to make a pot of soup today.

Hi Michele- you didn't sleep well either???? I don't own any Leslie Sansone workouts.Is she any good? Nothing like Cathe I suppose.I just buy Cathe workouts now b/c i usually get them on the first try b/c there is always something I know.

Trust me Lori, If you're good at Cathe you won't like Leslie. She does those Walk Away the Pounds w/o's. It's basically low impact aerobics for us old farts;)

Do you sweat? Cause if you are as old as you say you are...I don't think old people sweat!!! Just joking of course.!:) Can you really work up a sweat with those workouts?

If my workout partner soon doesn't call I am going to start my workout.Not sure what that going to be.I would like to do another one like yesterday, except with HST,HSC and running in between.I have to seriously get a leg workout it to.
After lunch I think I am going to head up town, buy a couple of pumpkins and carve them out tonight.That should be fun for DD and I to do.

Lori, you know people who workout? I don't have a single friend that can do what I do. I only have one friend who works out regularly, but she only walks. I go with her every once in a while because she is so cool and I love her. Other than that, I am all alone!! ;( ;( ;(

So, who did sleep well last night? I got an email from an old blast, and I must say I was rather stunned so I had a hard time sleeping. I am ssssssssoooooooooooooo tired. I was planning on doing legs today. I think that I will either do ME legs or LL, not sure yet. any opinions on that?

I do have amazing kids, don't I? They really are so special. I was going to take fitness pix of me, let's see how hot you think I am then!!! :+ My thighs are a little chunky and I have a big butt, but I really don't mind. I am "voluptuous", at least that is what DH calls me. I have to admit he has be convinced. And shoot, I have had three kids, I am not supposed to look like a teenager anymore.

I am not doing both workouts, get behind me, Satan!!! :p I think that I am giong to do LL. I really don't want to do all those leg presses....wait. There are a ton in LL, too. I guess it doesn't matter which I choose, I will get my butt kicked either way!:+

I had a ton of friends at the gym, but most of them were men so I don't think that I can take those relationships out of the gym. I know that my husband is grateful I didn't. And I hate to say this, but some of the women I couldn't stand there. They spent twenty minutes at the makeup counter before they left the locker room TO WORKOUT!!! Barformama!!! Sorry, I am not there to look pretty and pick up men. I am probably a little too tomboyish, too. :p I can't blame it all on the meat market clientel!

I hear ya Missy. That's one of the reasons I don't go to the gym anymore. I was starting to feel like I was in a meat market:-( x( . I've always been puzzled by the gals who wear full make-up and VERY skimpy w/o clothes to the gym.

I'm also on Mt. Voluptuous! My DH has no complaints. My goal is to be fit and feel good.;)

I went up town in the a.m and got the things I needed. I finish my lunch a little while ago so I am now getting ready to workout:) I am going to do what I posted earlier....geez...I got the heartburn.BLAH! I hate that!

DH and his friend are trying to get $250,000 for a sports shop in this town.I don't think they will have any trouble getting the money, its just that there are alot of people interested and apparently there is one guy who as that kind of money in his hand so it could easily be taken out form in under there noses.
PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, cross your fingers,legs,eyes...whatever you have for me.And pray to whatever God you pray to:7 that they will get this.DH needs a job...and if some dude as that kind of money in his pocket, then chances are they don't need the money.I got a nervous stomach over it. I hope they get it. There are alot of people interested though, so whats the chances?

ETA Lori, we need to put together our own rotation! I am going to go ahead and finish my rotation up this week since I only have already done chest and tris this week. I am going to work on a rotation and post it when I have it finished to see if we can work something out to where we can do it together, kay??? :7 :7
