Kali - I second what Wendy said, you have my e-mail and phone number, use them if you need to. I'm thinking of you. Oh .... and here's your kick in the rear... do your planned workouts!!! No laziness allowed here girl!!! ;) How's that?:p Just a note though, we are doing SJP tomorrow and I know it has upper body work on it so be careful what you do today. I think the freestyle work, from what I've read, doing back to back w/o's isn't as much of an issue right? Because the weights are lighter?

Wendy - I sure hope you feel better today. Nyquil will definitely put you to sleep, so hopefully you got some sleep.

Kim - it sounds like you had a good BD.

Good morning to everybody, Charlotte, Terri, Shannon, Lori, Nancy, Becky, and hopefully I haven't forgotten anybody.

Becky/Kali - I didn't get those walking lunges in this morning so I'll be doing them in the house at 3 when I get off and then going for my power walk. It is suppose to be 90 here today, yuck! so I'll probably walk a little later in the evening.

Oh I also meant to report my weigh in which I did yesterday.

I was down 1/2 pound.

Bust - the same
Waist - same
Hips - down 1/4
Right and left thighs - down 1/4

My BF% showed I was up a little over 1%. Not sure why other than I had a higher fat ratio Friday and Saturday than I usually do but nothing over the top.

I don't worry much about week-to-week fluctuations, only if it stays there consecutive weeks which I don't believe it will.

I didn't want to get up this morning! Too sleepy! And now I'm rushing around here going crazy trying to get ready for work! I need to when I get home to catch up on my exercising. I think I have to do coremax the entire today. Yuck!!

Kali- yes, you have all of us to talk to! Now don't you feel special?

Wendy I hope you are feeling better. It is a bummer having a cold. I can't stand to hurt in my head! Just rest and get better!

Well ladies I will not be eating sweet today cause I got my fill yesterday! I told the family to help themselves to it!!

WAKE UP WENDY!!!!!!! Ha, just kidding, hopefully you slept great last night and can nap today if you need. Lots of rest is good for you right now! I hate that Nyquil stuff too.:p

Jane, I am considering switching around my workouts. It's raining here and is supposed to be rainy all day.....so I would have to do my power walk on the treadmill. :-( I just hate to do that when the rest of the week looks so great......sunny and just perfect to be out walking! I was thinking I might do Saturdays workout (new step premix and abs) Not decided for sure yet, but am thinking about that.

Kali-I have ben where you are and though it was many years ago I have never regreted my choice that I made. That is not to say you should make the same one but I wanted you to know that if you decide to leave you can be happy and so can your children. My son is 24 has a great job, a band, and a lovely gf and is happy and well adjusted. I wish you the best and like everyone else has said I am here if you need to talk.

Jane-great job again on imax3! You are my hero :) Those plie jacks kill me! It is sopse to be 88 here in Denver so I feel for you on the heat issue. We had some cooler days last week and I am hating the heat being back.

Kim-Ok so 4 ish your time is 2ish my time so that works for me. I am so glad you had a nice BD and enjoyed the roast. I haven't had red meat in so many years I cannot remember. I hated the tatste of it when I was pregnant.

Becky-I envy your rain. I would love a stormy rainy day.

Wendy-I hope you are sleepong in and that you feel better.

Thanks Terri... I am still in shock over it. I wasn't expecting to do all of them because I could only go to about halfway through the first set of eights. It will be interesting to see if I can repeat it or if I was just have an really "on" day.

Becky - switch up however you like. I am going to try to stick with the rotation today and walk later in the evening but they are calling for thunderstorms this afternoon/evening so I am pretty much at the mercy of the weather. I'll just WeatherBug and try to time it right.

Thanks Ladies. I will be fine. When we were talking last night, he said "it doesn't even seem to be affecting you" because I wasn't really crying or anything. And I honestly felt peaceful during all of it. Like I know it's going to be okay. And he will be too. He doesn't see that right now, but he will. He said he wants to try to change, but that's not the issue here. My feelings or lack there of for him is what this is about.
Well I won't write too much in here.;) I'll email you guys and maybe even call you if I won't be putting you out! Jane could you send me your number again?

Yes I will get my workout in. Since I use light weights it's no problem to do UB back to back. When I was doing all Freestyle, I did TB everyday. Thanks for picking up on that tho Jane. I wouldn't have. :)
Awesome work Jane! You are doing great! I had gained a pound this week but lost a 1/2" off my hips and 1/4" off my thighs so you can't beat that with a stick! :7

~ Still sleeping off the NyQuil Wendy??? I hate that stuff. As a matter of fact, I cannot take it anymore because of the alcohol in it. I know you don't take much, but it does have an effect and still activates the allergy that could set me off on a bender!

Hey Ya'll Beautiful Women!!!

I am trying to be a good girl and get my workout of PLB in this morning before I head off to the bank. Then I can clean my house without the pressure of knowing that I still have to workout. I am eating my oatmeal now. LOL! Somebody please come over and help this girl paint too! LOL!
That mountain behind me is looking tempting for a hike or bike riding. Want to get up there as the weather is so nice right now.
BTW, I got in 2100 cals yesterday and gained a pound! I am going to step up my eating today and try to hit 2500!!!
I hope you all eat so much that you won't be hungry today! Bring on the food!!!!! I will be calling for a wheel chair later after low max extended version and PLB (not doing back to back though)

Anyone else going to be decorating soon for Halloween?????

Terri - I am still on those operative notes, all week. I don't mind doing them, they are just tedious and involved and you really have to pay attention to what you are doing... not that I don't always!;) I am doing a little bit better today. Yesterday started out with some doozies that set the tone for the whole day. I finished pretty good but still pretty well below what I usually do in a day.

Kali - I'll PM you my number later today.

Wendy - are you still sleeping off the Nyquil?

Charlotte - way to do on your weight gain. I know that is your goal and it is nice to progress in a positive direction isn't it? Keep up those killer w/o's!!

I'll talk to all of you later in the day. I am going to buckle down once again, just got up to get something to drink and pop in here.

Yes, I did decided to switch up the workouts. I'm happy to have a rainy day (and would share if I could), but it's too bad we got it on my day to walk !!
So I did the Lower Body Cardio Blast workout and Abs from KPC and guess what??? MY ABS are what I've noticed the biggest improvement in......with the stability ball I did every single roll in, and every single pike!!!!!! Even did the "ball exchange"(?) when you lay down on the ground with the ball over your head and pass it to your feet and straighten out!! and I've NEVER done those..........usually can only do a couple and I did them ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:eek:

This rotation has been really good for me and I'm going to save it and use it over and over......just think I need to add some upperbody.
Kali, I feel like doing upper body today too, but am hesitating because we have SJ&P tomorrow. I LOVE the stepping portion of that workout, but am not a hi/lo fan, so don't do that entire workout very often.
Still no word from Wendy? or did I miss her post??
 
Hi ladies! Yesterday was my rest day. Today I need to do the floor work from PLB.

I also have 3 days of the tooth whitening trays under my belt. How I hate them!!! They have to stay on for an hour, and I'm so scared to swallow, I hover around the bathroom spitting into the sink for most of the hour. 3 days down, 4 to go. :-(

Otherwise, everything is set for the wedding. Thursday is my eyebrow-shaping appointment (expensive, but I swear it takes years off my age), Friday I pick up the dress, Saturday is manicure, pedicure (and arm waxing). Then Sunday is the wedding.

I have no idea why I'm making such a big deal of the wedding. I think it started when my stepson said to come 2 hours early for the photos. I think I'm nervous about all the photos. I never really think I take a good picture.

I keep forgetting to tell you that I made your baked apple smoothie yesterday!!!!! I even went to the store because I didnt' have vanilla protein powder! ha You made me want that so bad!
It was delicious but I have to tell you, I will do it like you did next time....and bake the apples ahead of time and freeze them. I'm sure that helped give you a thick , frozen smoothie. I baked mine in the microwave and threw them right in (I couldn't wait. YOUR FAULT for making my mouth water with your post!:p ) and of course they were hot and I had to keep adding ice ,way more than called for....so the taste was a little watered down. Still, an excellent flavor and I WILL make it again, the right way.

Yeah, I was sleeping off the Nyquil. I FORCED myself out of bed at 8:30 and I am still in a fog. Since I won't be working out today I will probably jump in the shower really early b/c I think I need the "eye opening" affect it gives me. I feel like crawling back in to bed and I can't. :p

Kali, I hope everything works out for you soon, until then, keep up with your workouts as best you can but don't beat yourself up if you can't get them done - you'll feel better if you do, though ;)

Nancy, I don't envy you! Those bleaching things are nasty! I had excruitiatingly bad tooth sensitivity after about 4 days of using Crest strips and had to stop...I'll live with yellowish teeth I guess, *sips yummy coffee* :p Your teeth will look great for the wedding! Be sure to wear a great lipstick to showcase those pearly's :)

Sorry I didn't post yesterday - I'm going to let you know that Monday's and Weds. I can't guarantee that I'll be checking in. Those two days are just too busy and I don't have access to a computer until the evening... I'll try though :)

Yesterday was a rest day and today is S&H Chest/back. This is my last week of S&H, I'm curious to see how much my strength has increased when I go back to endurance training. S&H has gotten easier each week so I did some good anyway.

Enough babbling! Hi to Terri (my middle name btw, but it's Teri), Jane, Charlotte, Becky, Kim, Wendy, Lori, and anyone else I missed.

It's getting ready to rain here too! x( I dropped the boys off and the sun was out so I was going to go right out the door but now it looks as if it's about to pour!
We do need rain badly here tho. So I'm gonna do some cardio then my lunges and upper body.

Becky that's great about your abs getting stronger! Those moves are not easy. This is a great rotation. I can't wait to see the new DVD!

Hi there Wendy! Just take it easy again today. Rest when you can. It's the best thing for you when you're sick!

I have to buy a blender so I can make smoothies. I tried to boil mine when my son was a baby for the formula, and it got warped and wouldn't fit in the base anymore. I never needed one after that until now. Are smoothies good for us??

I guess I better workout before too much time goes by and I don't feel like it.

LOL! I will feel like a bus hit me later...for sure! I am taking a "breather" from PLB. Humid here today so I can't wait to get done. Hot as heck in that sunroom of ours. Rain coming here too. I just hope that damn Rita doesn't wreck havoc anywhere again! Gosh, enough is enough!!!!!! I am really worried about it.

Becky - yes you do need to bake the apples and freeze them overnight at least and it gives you the consistency of a soft serve ice cream. I am enjoying one right now, just took my break to make it. I add two cubes of ice because the flavor is a little strong but the two cubes makes it perfect.

kali - I bought a Braun 400 watt stick blender a few months ago and it really go through those frozen fruits like they are butter. It even comes with the container to make the smoothies in. Definitely the best purchase I could have made.
