Moment of Truth/Fall Check-in Wed. Sept 28

HI Girls,
I had a good dinner but it wasn't what she had planned on having.She put a roast in the oven and she smelled something weird and in turned out that the roast was spoiled.So we ended up having pizza but I picked the veggie kind, that way I didn't feel to bad.
I am gonna try and get up tomorrow morning and do Imax 3 early but we will see.I like to sleep in the day after night shifts.

I must be very sleepy, but you make me laugh. You just say the darnest random things. I don't know, just think a smelly roast tickled my funny bone or something. Was thinking of that dead cat in the back of my yard and how it smelled. I hope it didn't smell that gross though, I doubt it. LOL!

Apparently it smelled awful but I didn't know there was such a thing.Sure I know that meat can spoil but I have never bought anything...put it in the oven and then discover later on that it was spoiled.
Your getting giddy.Have you been sipp'in while DH is out?

Lori,

I smell everything all the time, didn't say anything about sippin' it all the time though...that was back in the days. Anyhow, I am weird about smells. When someone sends me a letter or package, I smell it. I smell the meat and feel it for slimeness before I package it in the freezer. I only eat leftovers the next day and then it goes in the trash. I did cook bad meat too once before I got in "the smellin'" business. Same thing happened. Weird smell and threw it out. I use to get very bad tummy aches as a child so I am paranoid now. LOL!

Oh don't get me started on the smelling.DH drives me crazy! He smells everything and he is constintly sniffing.He 'thinks' he smells stuff when no one else does. If he gets a glass of milk he sticks his nose in the carton first snd if he goes back for another glass 2 min later...he sniffs it again.Im like...what are you do'in? You just drank it? And he is always taking sandwich meat out of the fridge and asking me if it is spoiled.
You would make a wonderful couple.They would probably put you in the dog pound though.SO much sniffing going on, not sure if your animals or humans.

I am laughing really loud now! OMG! You are too funny! My children are probably wondering WTH? You don't even want to know that I sniff the carpet just to find out if the dog peed there or not!!!! Well now you know. LOL!

Yes Terri, it will be over with soon. You know I heard putting cloves in the mouth helps reduce the pain too. Have you tried it?

I don't sniff, I feel around for a wet spot.I leave the sniffing to DH.If he smells something weird he will get down on his hands and kness and smell the carpet.The only thing he won't smell is socks b/c he hates feet!

OMG! I cannot sit here and talk about sniffing anymore. You are cracking me up! I swear my side hurts now. We are just sharing too much information. I have all these nice new random pictures flashing thru my mind and now I will have to go to sleep soon. Can't wait to tell you my dreams tomorrow. LOL!

My mom called and I went over there till 9:00. I told her I had to leave to go home and tell the kids good night. She never wants you leave. So I had the bike left to do, but my legs feel so tired from doing LG floor twice. My legs have really lost their tone. But I got in abs. Tomorrow I have to do Chest and Back, and I will do the bike then. I am trying to get the bike in 5 days a week.


Terri, I really hope you get to feeling better! Are you taking anything for the pain? I know you said you were taking antibiotics, and something else but do you take motrin or advil? It looks like they could do something sooner than what they are. It's terrible how they make you wait! Just remember it will be over soon and you will be good as new! Besides, you need to be better so you can join me and Kali in the entire coremax next week!:p


Charlotte, you mean you're not energetic! I guess I always think of you as a ball of energy!:p Seriously I know everyone has days like that. Hope tomorrow is different for you.
