Moment of Truth/Fall Check-in Wed. Sept 28

Hey Wendy - today is big cal day for me too. I had Go Lean Crunch and skim milk this morning also. I also had stuffed French toast with low-fat cream cheese and SF pear preserves and, of course I used Egg Beaters and SF syrup. YUM!! Don't you just LOVE big cal day!!! On break now and off to make my PB/banana/choc smoothie!!!

How's Joey doing on his expanding diet?
 
Wow so many posts this morning! I was going to do musclemax but after hearing you all talk about ME maybe I will do that. Then I will do cardio later and some abs.

You read my post wrong. Maybe that is why I am getting so much flack on the other fourm.
I thought I was suppose to do Imax 3 (just once) and then try to do just the intervals again.Not do the whole workout twice.:) I think your the crazy ones!
But I was wrong, today is a 60 min run, then chest and triceps.I'd like to run outside but it is cold (already?) and windy.There is nothing I hate more then wind when I am trying to run.It feels like I am not moving.
I didn't have a very big sleep.Just a couple of hours but I guess it was enough b/c I am not tired.
I have a few things to do and I am not sure when I should do them.My worout partner won't be here until 2:30 and I would like to have my cardio done first and walking lunges.So I don't really have to start until 1, which gives me and our and a 1/2.
What to do, what to do? To tell you the truth...its to cold to go out.

Good job Becky! I'm done too. Tell me please ladies, why we do this to ourselves? That's all that kept going thru my mind during ME. I struggled w/ upper body too Becky. Lower body was great. I can really feel my butt getting harder. That may actually be for the 1st time in my life. I used to have so much fat back there I couldn't tell if I was squeezing the right cheeks or not LOL!!! :+
My upper body is a little shaky right now. Feels great tho now that it's over. Thank goodness.

Yes Terri I think you should jump on the band wagon and suffer thru ME too. Although you're so strong it's probably a breeze for you and Charlotte. ;) Glad your doing better.

Glad to hear you're done Wendy! Is that Go lean crunch any good? What kind of cereal is it? I have been dying for cereal but don't know what the hec to buy that's clean and healthy. How about Lucky Charms?? Just kidding.

That was really nice of Marie to post the tank top w/o for us. I think I'm going to stick to L&G tho and add UB in. My lower body still needs a world of work.

Kali/Becky... ever had one of those "dud moments", well I just did.... I think getting up at 3:45 this morning short-circuited my brain. I asked that question of Cathe about next month's rotation but I just thought that the July 05 rotation that Becky mentioned is exactly what I am asking Cathe for ..... oh brother... I don't have the PS or CTX series and that is why I hesitated on that one..... now Cathe or somebody will probably reference me back to that rotation..LOL.... Cathe has no way of knowing what w/o's I have or don't have... oh well...:+ If she does reply though, you know she will be gracious as always.

I would also like to continue to focus on the lower body as this is my big problem area. But I have got to get in more upper body, I really dread ME today because I know I am getting weaker in my upper body.
 
Jane~Joey is progressing wonderfully with his new foods and doing well with anything I give him. He has moved on to his third and final cereal (until 6 mos old) as of yesterday-barley-and seems to be fine with it. On friday or saturday it's on to yellow veggies!!!! :)

Kali~Go Lean Crunch is very tastey and it has lots of protein and fiber in it! :9 Some dislike the sugar count in it but I don't mind it. Lots of gals here eat it. The company that makes this cereal (Kashi), makes lots of other healthy cereals as well. You should check them out! I also eat the Healthy Heart which is similar to Cheerios and they have a fiber cereal which is pretty good too!

Hmmmm....I just put Joey up for a nap so I think I'll do the Stability Ball segment of Coremax in a little while!

Well ladies I did cardio first this am and guess what? While doing it my face felt funny so when I was done I looked in the mirror and the left side of my jaw is very swollen and getting bigger as I type. I know it is that tooth so I am off to the dentist. I am scared :( Wish me luck!

Wendy- I'd do it with you but crazy Lori is drinking a shake right now:) And not a McDonalds one either!
I went to the grocery store and I had about 9 bags, she says " $174 please" I almost crapped in my clothes! I thought there was no way I could have bought that much and it wasn't even expensive stuff in my cart.I had one tub of protein powder that was $40. I checked my bill over when I got home b/c I thought she may have checked something in twice...but no such luck.

Kali- I live in canada and probably the coldest place.Today the air is bit of a bite to it.DH is gone on a field trip with DD and I wanted her to wear some gloves b/c I thought she was gonna be cold but I have all of the winter stuff still tucked away (like you would its only Sept).

Anyway,Im gonna go do CM with Wendy while I am waiting for my shake to settle.I hope you r not finished already!

Hey Beautiful Women,

I just got a minute. Just finished Tri's/Bi's. May or may not get shoulders in today as I got to get out and mow too.

Anyhow, the chocolate covered peanuts is very easy to make, but I never measure. I am passionate about everything I do and sometimes just don't have the patience for measuring cups, etc.

Depending on how much you want to make....

use same amount of chocolate and peanuts. Say, half a jar of peanuts to a 4 or 5 baking squares of dark chocolate. Add in 1/4c of splenda (less or more depending on your desire of sweetness). Put all ingredients in a double boiler or just take a large pot of water and put in a smaller pot on top of it and let it melt. Mix ocassionally. Let cool and stick in frig. Then break up the chunks and put on wax paper or in container.

I'm not done yet Lori...in fact I have yet to start! LOL I just finished eating ww noodles and cottage cheese (early lunch or THIRD breakfast depending on how you look at it! LOL) so now I have to wait a little bit. I'll probably start it a bit after 12....

Thanks for the recipe Charlotte, how about you whipping up a batch for me and sending them over night. ;) Just kidding. I'm definatley going to try them. They've got to be healthier than Mr. Planter's choc. covered peanuts.

Well I'm off for my interview at Target. I now have 2 jobs and counting. I got hired at Kohl's department store last night. So when I get back it may be 3. Get ready to help me decide girls.

Okay Lori!!!! The stability ball section of coremax is done! Are you finished yet? I actually worked up a sweat! }( Those roll ins are IMPOSSIBLE! x( I do the most pathetic version of them! LOL I guess the fact that I try is what matters though, right? I sure hope so b/c trying is all I am capable of with those things! And the one where you pass the ball between your hands and feet with long levers...before Joey I may have been able to do that as my abs were MUCH stronger but right now I can not. I do that one with bent legs.

I just swiped all of the curtains out of the kitchen and threw them in the wash. Now if I could only figure out how to get the damn blinds down, I'd wash them while the curtains are washing! LOL
 
0k I am back. The tooth needs to come out but first the swelling and infection has to be taken care of. I am on steroids and antibiotics and go back Saturday at 8a.m. to have it removed. Yippeee I can hardly wait ;(

:( Oh Terri, I'm sorry about that. It's never good to lose a tooth!

Am glad you went though, because those infections can get really awful .
I hope you start feeling better quickly now that you are on antibiotics.

Terri... I'm so sorry, but I'm glad you are taking care of it. I know you've been in terrible pain, you just haven't been yourself the last couple of days. The antibiotics and steroids will make you feel better pretty quickly. Take care.
