Good morning fitness buddies..

I got another early 4 a.m. start on work today. I am not feeling that hot today, first and second day of my period is NOT fun. Hope everyone is doing well.

Today is Rhythmic Step and 15 minutes of Ab Hits (or any abs).

Tomorrow is that new Low Impact Step w/o I don't have and I was going to sub LowMax again but I've decided to sub Step Blast premix combos 1,2,3 (45 minutes). I really want to do Step Blast since I just got the DVD. Also that 30 minute run.

I have a time problem tomorrow. DH and I have an appointment at 4:30 and I don't get off work until 3 and I know we'll probably eat out somewhere after the appointment, so I am going to get that run in today after RS and get up early in the morning and do the Step Blast w/o. If I wait until tomorrow evening when I get back home and being full from eating, I'm afraid I won't get it in.

Today's workout is RS and Abs. I really enjoy RS and haven't done it in a while, so I'm looking forward to that.

Yesterday it was 81 and sunny here, today they are saying it will be around 20 degrees cooler and cloudy & windy! :-( I'm not ready for summer to be gone yet!
But , it makes today a good kitchen day and I have a LOT to do!
Am hoping RS gives me energy, because right now I just feel like crawling back in bed!
Jane, it sounds like you have a busy day ahead too!

Good Morning Girls,

Just getting DD ready for school.We have another family gathering today.It is my MIL b-day and we are going out there for dinner tonight.But I guess its my choice how much I eat, isn't it?
Today will be my first day of eating the BFL way:) I am not following the plan to a "T" but I am just gonna start eating 6 small meals a day with a protein and a carb.It is truely the easiest eating plan in the world:) I won't get my workout in before my first meal though.I want to do my rotation today but I know I am gonna have a friend blow in here around 9 and want to know if I want to go for a run.And I don't want to!:-( (arms folded and I am pouting)}( She is one of those people who won't quit either.SHe will keep asking or just hangout for an hour...so know what am I suppose to do.Go get my coffee and hide for an hour! What a nice friend I am !:eek:

Hey ladies,

Man I am sleepy this morning, but I know friday is just around the corner. I didn't get in the bike last night, my legs were tired from LG. But I will get it in tonight with SH chest and back. Ate like sh*t yesterday, pardon my french! Hey I will try again. Maybe one day I will hit the homerun!:p

RS this morning! YAY! My forearm was hurting yesterday, and by last night my whole arm from my shoulder down to my fingers was killing me! So I took Aleve and put some icy/hot on it and it feels pretty good today. But I'm glad there's no UB today.

Well now I have 4 jobs lined up and counting. The catalog center is out and Kohl's is out. Sorry Wendy. But I have an interview tomorrow at Bed Bath & Beyond and that looks really good. The girl who is interviewing me that helped me apply so far and I hit it right off. And it's not seasonal. Penney's and Kohl's are seasonal w/ MAYBE a chance for a steady job after. I don't feel like dealing with that.
Plus I still will be getting an interview next week at Sam's Club.
And Target hired me, I have a 3rd interview next week. But I believe they are seasonal too.

On another note, DH is not going to Germany. The trip got postponed. He may be going to Iraq or Kuwait tho for 4 months. He got the offer yesterday at work and is getting details today. We talked about it and have decided it's a really good opportunity. He will make $30,000.00 in 4 months. He'll be on base and you can't leave, and it's well protected. I'll have more details later. I'm not happy at all with the location. But he feels we cannot pass up this opportunity to help ourselves financially. Regardless of what happens w/ our marriage.

Well I've gone on long enough. I want to get RS out of the way and get some things done around here today.
I'll be checking in all day.

Have fun at your GTG today Lori. And yes YOU are in control of how much YOU eat! Good luck with the new eating plan. I believe it makes a difference. Quit pouting and go for the run or tell her you've got stuff to do when she comes so she'll leave. Or like you said, hide! LOL!

Hi Kim. Try again today buddy! You'll get there. One of these days it'll all come together and you'll be on your way! At least you're trying. And you ARE working out. So that off sets the unhealthy eating. Hope you get to go on the bike today!

You made me have strange dreams just like I told you that you would!:p I am so glad I don't remember them now, but I did remember when I woke from them. I only remember that you and I were plotting something together...not sure what. LOL! Then I had a dream that I went to Cathe's house and helped her move into this gigantic mansion. I cried when I had to go home and say good bye.

Your friend sounds like a friend I want around here. My neighbor works out with me once a year. That is all she has time for or wants to do. My other neighbors are very old.

Hope you have a better day today. My tri's are really sore this morning and I did not go any heavier than usual...hmmmmm. My bi's are sore again and I went lighter than usual....hmmmmm. I am excited about working out today. I have this Oxygen Magazine with several different shoulder exercises and I plan to do them all, hitting at every angle. Then Chest and Back using smith machine too. I love using the smith machine for lat pulldowns. I am at 70# for the pulldowns and I really want to up it to 80#, but that will take more time as I push myself to the max at 70# as it is.

Bike riding does sound like fun. Sounds likes something I should do later, but I think it is suppose to rain here today.

I hate PMS, don't you? There is no freedom of choice with it and I like to be free to be who I am, but it is ALWAYS the PMS that decides for me.

I will be making those pumpkin smoothies today or apple..not decided yet.

I was like you today on Monday. Now I am a free woman again. I do not usually workout the second day of my period and I don't care if others do or not, I don't believe in pushing myself when I know I shouldn't. I only push myself when I know I can. Yesterday I just felt so sluggish. Not sure why, but still did fine during my workout...just didn't have the strength to move the trampoline out of the way when I was outside mowing. Usually move it like it takes no effort at all...just yank and pull, but yesterday...good grief, just felt weak! Ever have those stupid weak days? Hate them! I hope today will be different for me.

Before I start Whinig I wanted to thank all of you for your support with my tooth issue :)

Now let the whing begin-I only slept 5 hours and the swelling in my face has not gone down yet. I need this down so I van get the tooth out saturday. I have things coming up next week that I HAVE to be there for. I am going to try and go back to slepp as I think sleep is good for the body when you have a BAD infection. I am debating on doing a workout today too.

Kim-You are doing your best and right now hat is good enough:)
Jane-I did make it to the store for apples but didn't bake them yet. Hopefully I can today. I have no appetite and this might be just the thing for me.

Hi all.

Hope everyone's morning is going good so far...

The work out on tap for today includes a circuit work out, xtra cardio and maybe some abs.

I woke up later than usual this morning though so I really don't have the time to get my w/o in right now.:-( Hopefully Joey will go down for his LOOONG nap by noon time like he has been doing the past few days so I can get in it then. :)

Hope the RS girls have fun!

It is baker's chocolate so you have to add sugar to it. You didn't think I would eat more sugar on top of splenda...are you trying to convert me back over or something? LOL!

Good Morning everyone!

I have to leave for class in a few minutes so I'll be brief :)

Yesterday I worked out at the gym after work, 30 mins on the crosstrainer + 15 mins on the recumbant bike, then I did about 15 mins of abs on the stability ball. I can do pikes so much better at the gym for some reason - their stability balls are heavier than mine, wonder if that's why... I'm actually pleasantly sore today in my glutes and abs.

I don't think I'll get to workout today - I have a lab to write for tomorrow and the cable guy is coming between 1-3 (why can't they just pick a time!? You know he won't show up until 2:55).

Kali, that stinks about DH's location but holy cow, that's good money! I wouldn't be able to pass that up either. Maybe the distance will help your situation.

We did caliper testing at school yesterday and the girl that did mine got 14%...lol, I wish! We used the Omoron hand held bf device and that said 23% - that's more like it :) We do underwater weighing next week, then I'll know for sure :)

So much for being brief!

I am done with RS and I don't have ab hits, so I did abs from KPC and PH. I did every single rollin and pike and did the full length of the plank! I KNOW my abs have gotten stronger on this butt & gut rotation, because I was very weak on the planks & pikes before! For some reason I felt very strong today and enjoyed every single second of RS and it just FLEW BY!!!!!!!!

Now, I'm off to make a smoothie and hit the shower and get busy!

Hey, ladies! Well, I joined this check-in to get in shape for the wedding, so I suppose I don't officially need to check in anymore.

Shannon, I would love to have that underwater body fat measurement available to me. That would really motivate me.

Jane, once I go out to eat, that's it. I don't work out after that either.

Becky, I envy you. I am now in the worst state of PMS I've been in in a long time. I feel very drained and tired, but I'm not sleeping that well. I woke up an hour ago feeling like vampires had been sucking on my neck all night. Cramps will be a relief compared to this.

Kali, I must have missed something during all my wedding excitement. You have 4 jobs? Or is it 4 interviews?

Terri - ouch!!

Why is everyone doing RS at the same time? I guess it must be one of Cathe's rotations. I couldn't follow a rotation if my life depended upon it.

I'm counting the minutes until Friday night when the weekend begins.....

And of course....there is alot of chating going on here again today!:) Can you imagine what a hen party in would be if we were all in the same room!

I went to my in-laws for coffee today so that was my hiding spot.Don't get me wrong she is a great gal but she loves to talk! She grew up in this town and I think all of her friends have moved so she is pretty low key.And its not that I don't want to run with her, but I made up this rotation and I want to stick to it as close as possible.There is no way I was going for a hour long run and then do Imax3! Now that would be nuts. Then when she doesn stop by, I could be on my way out the door with my shoes on and she will come in a sit down to the kitchen table.She is never in a rush to go anywhere and I am more go,go,go.I just wish that people could sense the vibe if you want to come out and play or not:)

Charlotte- You had weird dreams? Were you sniffing things? Were you a dog or a human? Crazy girl! I had a dream to but I don't remember it now.I know I woke up at sometimes last night with a pain in my head.I thought I was going to die but I woke up today.Its a good thing to b/c I have alot to do:)

Anyway,I just skimmed through the post but hopefully I will have more time to re-read them later.I am gonna go kick some butt now....to bad its my own!;-)

I bought Splenda and I am not totally fond of it in my coffee but I'm dealing since I bought it. Well, I also bought plain Go Lean Cereal since they were out of the crunch kind. This cereal is very blah to me so I push a little Splenda in it and yummed it up! :9 It was fine in my cereal...I wonder why I'm not fond of it in my coffee then??? Maybe I'm just a wierdo, ey?:p :7

I'm off to wake up the little guy!

Wendy, the Go Lean is better for you than the Crunch. See if you can't acquire a taste for it. My nutritionist put the Kashi Crunch cereals on the "no-no" list for me. Or try Good Friends, which I like even better.

You won't need to add anything to that.;-)

My smoothie of the morning was vanilla soy milk, 2 T. peanutbutter, a banana, vanilla protein powder and ice. I made it extra thick ate it with a spoon. What a treat! Like peanutbutter soft serve ice cream!!

Nancy, I feel for you!!! I was so tired the last few days and felt grumpy and bloated. My face felt like it was retaining so much water...when I woke up in the morning I felt like a BLOW FISH!!!!
My periods can be painful and I LIVE on Advil/aleve through them , which my dr. has assured me for years is okay but now the reports seem to suggest otherwise. But without it, I'd be in bed!!
Anyway, today for some unknown reason , I am feeling pretty good and have lots of energy. So I am "seizing the moment", knowing I probably will crash later!!

Now, I better get to work.
