I can tell you briefly what I encountered. For my first two babies I lived in a home that did not have mold, we moved while pregnant with baby number 3 and had a terrible problem with mold. My symptoms manifested in the area of nursing (I had two more pregnancies while living in the moldy home). I had TERRIBLE reoccurent breast infections like 2 per week and constant mastitis and we later learned that my system showed signs of candida from the mold in the home. We finally moved and I will forever more have problems with nursing the baby because I have so much scar tissue in my chest from all the infections. This is actually the battle that I know is ahead as I am due in December and I greatly fear going through the nursing thing again. I am going to try and wean as soon as possible because I can't handle the infections that I get and I will probably face the mold problems in my system for my whole life. I have to stay away from carbohydrates in the form of any breads, cookies, crackers, pasta, etc and NO sugar, honey, and I even have to be careful not to eat too much fruit due to it's sugar content.
I know this is drastic...but I would move if I were in any situation where there is mold....it is incredibly dangerous and will wreck your system for a lifetime. I am very healthy now....but I have to constantly watch my diet or else the effects still show up. My regret is that we didn't move MUCH sooner. Just an opinion....it's not worth compromising your health.
