Mix and Match - DVD players that allow chaptering

Which DVD players allow you to program specific DVD chapters for playback? I am having trouble finding one and the tech geeks at the big box stores don't have a clue what I am talking about. Thanks.

I used to have a 1-disc RCA DVD player that was programmable. There are also multi-disc players that are programmable, but beware, some are only programmable for CD's across discs (I guess they assume most people are watching movies on DVD, and why would anyone want to go back and forth between chapters in different movies?).

The best thing to do is to look at the owner's manual (and have the tech geek translate it for you if necessary).

My DVD player is a Sony 5 disc changer and I cannot pre-program acrossed discs, only within a disc. However. You can set you DVD up so that when you move to the next DVD it automatically starts where you last started. Aquajock does this and can explain it quite well, but what you do is go to each disk and select the chapter you want. Cycle through each disc selecting the chapter you want from that disc, then go to the beginning of your w/o. When you select the next disc, it will automatically start where you ended. I have tried this and it works quite well and is actually easier than it sounds.
