I HAVE ALL 3 OF THESE DVD'S. I have been looking at the DVD # 3 from the intensity series, and the upper and lower work outs look awesome.

My question is this, beings I already have MIS, MUSSCLE ENDURANCE and CARDIO and WEIGHTS, do you think I should order the pyramid dvd?, are the work outs a lot different or do you think with the 3 I have I would get the same results?. I have heard nothing but good reviews on the pyramid tapes.

The last time I did muscle endurance I put a little more weight on the barbell doing the squats and my little (I WISH) CHEEKS WERE BURNING THE NEXT DAY, BUT IN A GOOD WAY.

Any suggestions from you who have suggestions, comments please reply.
Thank you .I will check back after work.

Thanks so much

Debra

Hi Debra, I'd say, if you have the money, get it.

MIS is a strength workout; ME is, as its name describes, a muscular endurance workout; and C&W is a circuit workout. Right there, you have a good collection that gives you a little bit of everything. Pyramids is classified by many in this forum as a strength workout. For me it works both strength -- because of the increasing weights -- and endurance -- because of the high reps.

Have you ever done pyramid training before? It's when you do 12 reps with low weight, 10 reps with moderate weight, 8 reps with heavy weight, 10 reps with moderate weight, then 12 with low. In Pyramid Upper Body, Cathe uses 2 exercises for chest, back, triceps and biceps. For shoulders, she has 3 exercises to hit each "head" in your shoulders. I think this is the only upper body workout Cathe has that doesn't use any barbell (I could be mistaken, and if I am, someone please correct me). In Pyramid Lower Body, you use a barbell and for leg presses, static lunges, squats, plie squats and deadlifts, and a stability ball for floorwork.

The Pyramids have given me great results, far greater than MIS or ME or C&W. So of course, I highly recommend it.:)

FYI the pyramids are some of my most used weight vidoes, and I have seen great results with them. The floor work and ab work are really different than in ME & MIS. Using all of the mentioned videos in different rotations will really help to keep your muscles challenged and your mind from being bored.

Debbie,
I love all the workouts you have. Like the above poster said...incorporating these in various rotations will keep variety, interest, and results heading your way. I love how it feels when I pull out a workout...especially a weight one like MIS...that I haven't used for a while. It's like a WOW! all over again and it keeps everying fresh. Enjoy!:7

Oh yes, MIS was classified by Cathe in a recent post as a gym-style weight workout. It covers the basics well. Cathe has lots of wonderful form pointers in there. ME is a kick-butt muscular endurance workout. I know it's a favorite among many in this forum. My all-time favorite endurance workout though, is still PH, but ME's ab work is one of the best, IMHO. And C&W has fun step moves with good, straightforward, heavy weight work, heavier than in most circuit workouts. They hit the right spots very nicely.

Thank you, Debbie. My husband and I are growing a business we started last year, so what you said means a lot.:) I don't sell anything but I find myself making contacts here and there. Hey, at least I know I can CONNECT with people.:)

Enjoy your workouts. They are worth every penny.

The PYRAMIDS are the best. You get so much done in so little time. PLB is fantastic. I actually do that floorwork. I hate floorwork.
