Mirrors in my workout room

Dear Hubby hung some mirrors in my workout room today. They weren't the ones I wanted, but they were the ones he was willing to hang. All in all, they look really nice!

Now all I need to hang are my posters of Marilyn Monroe and Rosie the Riveter. The centerpiece for these photos will be the group photo of the Cathe Roadtrip. I do hope we can purchase this photo. It will be the treasure in my workout room.

LOL even if I had a workout room that didn't double as a living room, I think I'd be afraid to put mirrors up!! I think it would provide a little too much reality... and burst my "I look just like them on TV" bubble... because I don't look like them at ALL, but I somehow think that I do when I'm working out. I was on vacation and using the hotel gym a few weeks ago and kept wondering where my cut muscles were... LOL

So glad you think they look nice in your workout room! Good luck with a photo of the group- have fun on the road trip!

Yes, please show us your room. What kind of mirrors did you hang? Mirrors are a great idea. They will help you make sure you are keeping good form. I am moving and will have a room that can be used as a workout room and I am getting great ideas from you guys. Am also thinking of getting two little kitties, a brother and a sister ( not for the workout room, although I am sure they will find their way in there LOL)
 
I had posted pics in the show us your workout room thread, but my picture trail account expired. My room had the pink and purple mats and the hanging beads.

Cathy, you are right about form. That is why I wanted the mirrors up. I find sometimes my form isn't what it should be a lot of the time.

Anyways, I had wanted three really big mirrors (48 x 60?) but he thought they would be to hard to hang, so he hung three 16 x 60 mirrors side by side. I think I want two more.

Tammy, thanks for the information on those mirrors. That is exactly what I want to do in my son's old bedroom that is now a storage unit for my two kid's stuff until they get it out. My son and DIL recently got out of the military after four years and are in the process of building. My daughter will be moving to an apartment closer to where she will be teaching HS this fall. So, it won't be long before I can start redoing the room for my workout space. I CAN'T WAIT. I am going to be going from the floor up. I am so excited.
 
Cathy- this is off subject but I couldn't resist- YAY for your thoughts of getting a brother/sister team!! We have a set- George and Gracie. They are the most wonderful cats ever and they keep themselves exercised and entertained hanging out together. They act JUST like you'd expect a bro/sis to behave- fighting and chasing, then an hour later cuddled together asleep. Too cute!!
My DH and I are gone for hours on end but I never have to worry too much about the cats as I know they're there for each other.
