Minnesotans! I might be on Channel 5 tonight!

As DH and I were coming home from a neighborhood walk a few minutes ago, we were stopped by a KSTP Channel 5 news anchor and his camera man, and I was interviewed about what it's like to have a Thanksgiving Day that's sunny and in the 50's. I was my customary eloquent, erudite and ever-so-modest self.

If this segment gets on it will be either 6:00 or 6:30 p.m. CST. I wore my dressiest red Smithsonian billed cap for the occasion.

A star is born . . .

Ah, KSTP, a blast from the past! (I grew up in Minnesota, and lived their until I went to grad school).
 
Hi, Becki! Thanks so much! I personally missed it; DH and I were at the home of some friends of ours, and although they had the TV turned on to the station I got caught up in a conversation in another room and by the time everyone howled at me and I went into the TV room, my 15 nanoseconds of fame had evapped. And the DVD that they were recording the broadcast on ran out of disc space TWO SECONDS before my red hat made its appearance. Ah well. Fame is fleeting, yes?

Now I can put a face to those famous mish-moshes! I thought I might end up missing it, as I had a "craving" for Cardio Fusion at about 5:45...turned on my TV at about 6:50 and there you were!

I wish I would of seen you on the news. Isn't this weather great! The weather here in Chicago is great too.

Kathryn-Sounds like we switched. I grew up in Chicago and now I live in Minnesota.
