i don't have the gliders but i have been trying a workout where she uses paper plates, and after that i have considered getting them. it really tests balance and makes the muscle you are focusing on do all the work. i don't have the same range of motion doing lunges witht he plates as i do without them and it really makes the glute and hams work. the push=ups i can barely get through in her workout right now. i believe they sell a set for wood floors and one for carpet floors.

How are the workouts that come with the gliders? Did anyone order the gliders and the workouts in the set for 19.99? Thanks

I had ordered the set with the gliders. I use the gliders all the time in my TLT's . And I did like her leg workout and total body. I did not care for the cardio though. I really don't do the gliding workouts, I have so many other workouts, but love doing mountain climbers with them. I try to do that everyday. Mindy also uses them in her all about abs dvd, there is a five minute section with them.

You can put on music and just jam with no DVD! Michael McDonald Motown does it for me!

I think the gliding discs are also great for travel: very easy to pack in a suitcase, and the kind of carpet they have in hotel rooms is just perfect!

And it's easy to keep them handy and grab them to use in other workouts. I like doing 1-legged squats and lunges with them. When you do a glide disc lunge, it keeps the legs engaged throughout the whole movement, and adds a bit of extra glute work to rear lunges (always a good thing, IMO!).
 
I ordered the Total Body Basics and really liked it. I found the core work to be more challenging than the leg work. Gliding obviously gets muscles that traditional ab work doesn't get -- because I do a lot of ab work. What other Mindy gliding workouts are challenging, for both legs and core?

I ordered the home gliding kit and am glad that I did.
I feel it in my muscles while doing the moves and for
days after. I also use the gliding discs in other workouts
too. I feel it was worth the price.

I just got Power and Grace and Gliding Beyond the basics, wow, these are fun workouts, they seem easy if you are watching the video, doing them is a different story. I like them because they challenge my muscles in a totally different way. Any one else has tried these workouts?

No, but I'm interested in "Beyond the Basics." What is it like? Can you compare it to the "Basics" workout or others?
