Might have better luck over here - help me choose!

Repeated from the OD board... didn't get much of a response over there (although I thank those ladies who gave feedback!).

Ladies,

I've decided to add to my ever-expanding collection of Cathe's. I am thinking I don't want to get more than two workouts right now (either two DVDs or a DVD with two workouts). Here is what I *don't* have:

MuscleMax
Imax 3
Low Max (this was one I had and LOST!)
HC Extreme
Legs & Glutes/KPC (another lost item, sigh, but I do have Timesaver)
Supersets/Push-Pull
Terminator
Power Hour
Pure Strength

What would you choose??

Thanks for your input!
Marie

Hi Marie! My votes would be for Terminator (I'm still recovering from IMAX Extreme this morning) and Leg & Glutes/KPC, mostly because I think both of these workouts are incredible!! What a fun, difficult decision to make!! I don't envy you!

My vote is for the ps series. It is awesome! I got the vhs' and have been doing a ps rotation for the last 3 weeks. After 2 weeks I noticed I am much more defined. I have been doing cathe workouts for almost a year now and I have seen the best results with this.:) (I have most of her workouts) I also love PH its a great workout and the abs workout is great. good luck with whatever you choose. Deanie:)

There are some great workouts in that list. What do you want to focus on next month?

If it's Cardio - get Hard Core Extreme (if you have a programmable DVD player, you get IMax 3 as well) and Low Max.

If it's circuit - Get Terminator and Hard Core Extreme

Weights - Pure strength and Muscle Max.

You'll end up with all of them anyway, but hey...

Oh yeah - I'd get KPC/Legs and Glutes no matter - I love that DVD!!!

I think one of the reasons people don't like HCE as much as Terminator is that all of the HCE's are TOUGH! Terminator workouts are more fun - not to say that they are not tough as well, they are, but not as. The HCE's are all very high impact as well. HCE # 3 is IMax 3 interval 5-7, followed by KickMax Blasts 1-5, then IMax 8-10 and blasts 6-10. Followed by the leg conditioning drills. I can barely walk after that one.

Also there are more options on the Termintor DVD, and they're edited a bit better. I think it depends on what you're looking for. Both will give you a challenge. Termintor will give you more of a fun factor. HCE will give you a WORKOUT!

LOw Max and KPC, no choice about it! These are the most innovative of the workouts in that list.

After all, if you have the GS w/os then you don't need PS. If you have any total body endurance w/os, then you can leave MM for a while. If you have Imax 1 or 2, then 3 can wait.

KPC is simply awesome, Cathe;s best and most creative appproach to kick boxing yet. Low Max is a stand alone workout in Cathe's collection, there's nothing else like it. You can't not work your legs with this one, and get a cradio session in at the same time.

Well Marie, depends on your fitness goals. I personally would get PS and your favorite cardio DVD in that list in that way you'll get a really amazing weight training DVD and a cardio DVD. Of that list, I think Low Max, KPC/L&G, and Terminator are the best IMO so you can choose between those.

By the way I'm doing a 6 week PS rotation (I started this week) and wow I really missed doing PS. I had to lower my regular lifting weight because all the endurance rotations I've done in the past months. I don't think I'm going to do an endurance rotation for a long time. I need to gain my strength back and I know I'll get it with PS.

Oops! Thought those were ones that you do have. Of the ones that you don't have, hmmm, I guess my vote would be LoMax. I love it!
