MIC Substitution

MIC is one of the few Cathe workouts I don't have. I swear I read somewhere that a good subsitution for this would be the step part of Body Max2 and then a steady state run on the treadmill, but I can't remember how long the run is. Does anyone remember this post or am I just going crazy:) ? Thanks.

Hi. I didn't see the past post. But MIC (and I don't know actual time breakdowns, these are estimates) is @ 30 minutes high/low - starting off lower impact, then medium, then high impact. Then she does step for about 25 - 30 minutes and finishes with some blasts (like the blasts from Step Blast). What you list sounds like it would work. Maybe try the treadmill first, then step and then do some intervals (about 5 - 10 minutes)

Have fun, but if you can, try and get this workout. It's a good one!!:)
 
Here's another one, goofy though it might sound:

If you have CTX, do the following:

10-10-10 warm-up, kick box and hi/lo
Repeat the kickbox and hi/lo; then
Complete the step segment of 10-10-10; THEN (here's the genius part)
Perform the interval segment of Step Intervals.

Not bad, huh?

Thank you for the suggestions!!!The CTX series is mentioned a lot in posts and in Cathe's rotations. I think I need to start saving up for that one, too:)
