I hope you don't mind me attempting to answer your question until Cathe can.
Metabolic training is not new, and it is certainly not new to Cathe. Call it metabolic training, call it circuit training, call it interval training, call it bootcamp – it is all the same.
Metabolic training is a combination of training styles and methods done in a back-to-back fashion with minimal to no rest between movements. These can be performed in circuits for an entire routine, or as a blast during steady state workouts.
There are so many workouts in Cathe’s collection that use metabolic training methods it might be easier to list the ones that do not.
