Meso 2: new twist

I normally tack on cardio after STS for about 30 minutes. I need a little extra cardio to stay lean. So lately i haven't been able to workout for more than one hour due to other life obligations. So i decided to put a little twist on meso 2 today. I preset my treadmill at 6mph and 10% incline and during the one minute break after each set, i jumped on the treadmill to get the cardio factor. It was an amazing workout!!!!! I was spent by the end of the workout. I think i may do all of meso 2 like this. Just wanted to share.
 
hmm, but aren't we supposed to be resting in that time, or just resting the muscle?

I too tacked on my cardio either before or after and it just made for incredibly long workouts. There are some exercises/muscles that after I worked, I really felt I needed the rest, but others not as much. I think if you listen to your body, you will be fine. Maybe do this for upper and not legs though so you don't fatigue your legs doing non-weights (especially since you have to gear up for those paper plate exercises!).

i've never been a good rester LOL! I'm so used to circuits and supersets that resting for even a minute inbetween sets is just so boring for me. I probably won't do this for legs since the tri sets in meso 2 legs get my breathing up just as good but if i do decide to do it for legs it will be low resistance on my elliptical.
