Merry Christmas Weight Watchers Tue Dec 25th 2007

Aww, Merry Christmas Everyone!

It has been really nice here. Yesterday was spent with my DH family and then Christmas Eve service. So nice, it always makes me cry. Today we are going to my parents, around 3 or so to eat, etc. I am pretty happy, I watched what I ate, and the scale show a 1lb drop! That is a great present, huh?

Yesterday was my rest day. Today will be KenpoX and hopefully part of 4DS kickboxing. We have time today, so I want to make it a long workout!

Lori--I was laughing when you were saying I sounds like your friend, who is always 'so over' everything. That is me to a T! I say it alot. I really enjoy holidays, etc. But I think I dread going to them before, but once I get there I am fine. Weird, huh? Maybe I just anticipate things that never happen, like tension, etc.

Hey girls...Merry Christmas to you all!

Im just popping in for a bit before we load up and go over to my moms! No workout for me today I'll get back on track tommorrow!

I've already decided to really give it my all starting wednsday,clean eating and counting calories(around 1300,since 1500 didn't move the scale:-() lets see if that does the trick;-)

With that said,I need to make a run to the grocery store tommorrow to stock up on clean food,I totally have none here!:+ atleast there is no junk food left! Im makeing a turkey/veggie soup for supper tonight and I will eat it for lunch tommorrow too...its very clean!

The only thing Im not to sure about is bread! I can't stand that ezekeil bread,yuk! I will just eat Whole wheat and try to watch how much! Any suggestions!!!

Just back to report my workout.

I started out with 4DS kickbox, skipped the c/d, and then finished up with the kickboxing and plyo part of cardio x. My SIL has the KenpoX disc, and I didn't feel like walking over there to get it. So today was a mish mosh.

Amelia-good job on resolving to really give it your all with clean eating. I think you can workout and workout, but you really will not see the results untill your diet is good. I eat these low carb whole wheat tortillas, the sell them at Wal Mart. The brand is called Tumaro's gourmet tortillas. They are really low in carbs and good.

Hi, everyone!!
DH gave me the best present ever - a new 40" flat screen digital t.v. for my Cathe workouts!!! I can't believe it!! STS and Workout Blender, here I come. I've been using a small 19" t.v. with a remote that no longer works. Lucky me!

This morning was Rhythmic Step from the Cathe Dec. rotation. Just right!

Amelia, I'm with you on a recommitment starting tomorrow a.m.
On the bread, a couple of suggestions: My program advises using the thin little Grissini italian breadsticks. It's just 11 calories for one, but feels like a lot. You can get them in the grocery store in the section with the fancier crackers.

Another idea is Oatmeal/Peanut butter muffins. All oatmeal and a little whole wheat flour. I like those a lot in place of bread, and I'm going to be trying to hold to just one serving of starchy carbs per day.

Merry Christmas Girls!

I feel worn out from working so hard today but I also feel lazy for not working out the last few days. I made the whole Christmas meal by myself. It was only for the 4 of us, but it was still a lot of cooking. I also cleaned up most of the post-present mess while DH played a computer game he ostensibly bought for me. Typical. :p I'm still sniffly but I feel better during the day than I do at night when the congestion bothers me more.

Anyway, it's been a good Christmas day.

Amelia, have you tried WW bread? It's like 1 pt for 2 slices (don't know the calories if you're counting those, but it's probably pretty low as well). I like it pretty well, though sometimes I wonder if it's so low in points just because it's small and thin. :)

Cheryl, congrats on the new TV! I was just telling DH the other day that a flat screen would be awesome for my workouts. But of course I just work out in our living room with our regular TV, which works fine. Sometimes I work out in the dining room, which actually has more space, but in there I have to use my laptop to play DVDs, which is not the best--would love to hang a TV on the wall instead.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Checking in very late so don't know if anyone will catch this post.

Had a wonderful day with my family!! So exciting to watch my kids this morning and they have been on cloud 9 all day with their new toys!

I am now the proud owner of LIC!!! I previewed it a bit today and will pop it in tomorrow and give it a try. I will have BM2 on Monday the 31st, just in time for New Year's! Feeling good and ready to get back on workouts.

Belinda, great job on your workout today and hope you are having a great visit with your kids!

Carrie, awesome workout and I'm so happy you had a nice holiday! I actually understand what you mean about getting a bit anxious for things, I tend to have a bit of a dread factor around large gatherings, but once I'm in the middle of it, I'm just fine.

Cheryl, WOW, very cool about your new t.v.!!! That would be great to have such a big screen to workout with. We're hoping to replace our t.v. in the current workout area within the next few years and would like to go to a 37 inch flat screen. It will be nice! Good job on your workout too.

Lainie, high fives on the dinner and getting everything picked up! I did a bunch of that myself and am pretty wiped out.

Amelia, hello and glad you're having a good day!! I hear you on the clean eating, I have been way off on my eating the past week. Can you say, apple pie? So, I'll be up for a clean eating challenge myself:)
